Thank you KG, thank you for giving LeBron an even bigger reason to bury your ass in the playoffs.
I just rewinded it to see what was going on. Apparent Tony Allen and Lebron had words first, which led Lebron to the Boston huddle. KG naturally was siding with his teammate.
No, Lebron and Tony Allen were talking, KG had been jawing at LeBron since the 3rd quarter.

It almost cost Boston this game, it will not doubt cost them in the playoffs (if they get far enough to play us, which I pray they do)
I do agree that a player should never get Lebron fire up because it seems like that is when he plays his best.

Really? At the end, he had the Queen rattled. LBJ would've served him and the team best by ignoring this. However, he let KG and the rest of the Green get in his head.
Dude, it was the reason why Cleveland got back into the lead.

You don't get rattled when you score 30+ points in the 2nd half. The Celtics pissed him off and he went off on them.

If you are referring to the FT's you haven't watched Cleveland play all season then. People can say that those FT's cost them the game, but they have been winning while shooting piss poor from the FT line. Getting down by 20+ and playing without intensity early lost Cleveland this game.

The Cavs and Celtics AGAIN split the regular season. Is this the Cavs current biggest rivals?

    Rattled?

He went for that three at the end just to make a statement. Hardly rattled when he just led his team back from down 20 points, outscored the C's in the 4th by himself and did all of this in a game that was 100 times more important for the C's than LeBron and the Cavs.

Nobody was in his head, he was in their head. They crumbled in the 4th quarter. He DOMINATED in the 4th quarter.

Wow seriously? You wanna talk about officiating.... The fouls were 27-27... Cleveland shot 40 FT's to Boston's 38 .. Cavs missed 14, Boston missed 7 .... BUT somehow in a game with 54 combined fouls lebron has 0??? Every player that played in the game had a foul except LeBron and Sheldon Williams .... Boston just went Cold in the 4th Quarter.
  • hoops23
No, Orlando is because imo, Boston isn't a threat to Cleveland.

Today proved that even further. Cleveland was obviously fine with coasting through this one until Boston started yapping.

I'm sorry, but Boston made a mistake here.

Spin it all you want, but Boston isn't a threat to Cleveland at all.

You cannot be happy at all with their performance and the future thought of playing Cleveland in a 7 game series.

Boston didn't go cold. Forcing turnovers and shot clock violations doesn't result in going cold, it's a result of being locked the fuck down.

I look forward to you disappearing again.

First of all, foul count is the absolute worst way to decide how a game was officiated.

LeBron got fouled 90% of the time he went to the rack--it got called about 50% of the time. That's nothing new, in fact, it's the norm. But I don't want to hear you bitch about the officials.

Boston DID NOT just go cold, the Cavs put the clamps on and LeBron went off to bring his team back. If you think Boston just went cold then you haven't been paying attention this season. If that's the case, then A LOT of teams have just happened to go cold against the Cavs in the 2nd half this season. Don't think so, it's not a fluke--they pick up the intensity BIG TIME.

Up 20, we don't have 2 of our top 6 players and all the C's can do is tuck their tail and hope they survive. IN A GAME THEY NEEEEEED TO WIN! LMAO, this game says a lot about the C's IMO.

LeBron tried to be a hero when he didnt need to be.

You are down 2 and he goes for a contested 3 when I think it was Jamison could have easily gotten the pass and tied the game.
  • JakeGiant
Guys, big leads in game of this magnitude usually means the one that was up, took it easy. Boston took the 4th off, nearly cost them, but got in LBJ's head when it mattered. He couldn't make FTS, he confronted the Boston bench(beta behavior.....not good), and continued to let KG rattle him. And for the record, this game meant more to Cleveland. They need to know they can win in the Garden. Couldn't even do that against a team who sucks at home this season.

    Contested 3?

The defense sagged off of him and there was no hand in his face.

I still don't think Boston is a pushover in the playoffs. I wouldn't be shocked if they took the Cavs to 7 games or even win the series.

Yes, they won already at Boston earlier nice try.

LeBron and Cleveland haven't hit FT's well all year, nothing new and it wasn't KG in his head.

Keep trying though but make sure you post correct stuff, see you in June (maybe not your team though).

Your entire post is incorrect and really flawed troll.

lol the bandwagon Laker fan who at one point said he'd rather keep Shaq over Kobe and also felt LeBron was a better leader than Kobe is trying to chime in on a game that has no bearing to him.

Jake, you didn't watch this game if you think Boston "went cold".. You're just another guy trying to get people riled up, just like you do on the other forum..

Cleveland destroyed Boston @ Boston already and also destroyed them in Cleveland.. Boston won the VERY FIRST game of the season and then this one, which they damn near lost. Spin it anyway you want.
  • osu45804
Yeah you're right Shaq would have been a big difference instead of missing 14 FT's you would have missed 20..... Boston did go cold... Serioulsy once lebron got his technical the whistles stopped on cleveland's but like he has a right to complain when he takes 22 FT's in a game.... Some Cavs are just as blind as other people who love their favorite teams when you can't see that!...
  • JakeGiant
Oh yeah, I forgot the one Cleveland won when Boston was short-handed and didn't have anyone to step up.

Not spinning anything. If LBJ wanted to do something about it, he should have made his FTS and threes when it mattered. Instead, he confronted the Boston team(big mistake) and let them get to his head.

    LOL..

And some teams fans (I'm looking at you OSU) disappear when their team sucks.

Boston is much closer to being a lottery team than they are a championship team..

It took the resurrection of Jesus on Easter (irony) to beat the Cavs... You cannot expect Ray Allen to pour in 30+ points a game to beat Cleveland lol..

My goodness, the Celtics played their best game of the season (even Hubie admitted it) and still almost lost.

Keep talking shit troll. Nice to see you pop in after you knew Cleveland was going to lose.

Where were you when Bron carried Cleveland back from a 20 point deficit dumbass.

GTFO clown. Might want to worry about your team and their stellar play recently.

Cavs lost 9 straight times in Boston until they won there earlier this year without Paul Pierce on the court. That has to be taken into consideration, especially if people are going to bring up not having Shaq or Varejao as a excuse (it goes both ways). Playing in Boston still may be a tough course. But Boston would have to win in Cleveland which isn't easy either.

lol, wait.. Isn't Cleveland shorthanded right now?

Or is this one of Jakes double standards again?

By the way, the Lakers haven't been playing great lately, maybe you should worry about kobe right now, not LeBron... This isn't last season.

just like LBJ, you're going beta.

Keep it cool. It's alright. It's one game.

    Here are the facts:.

Cleveland lost to Boston by 6 in the 1st game of the year with 3 new starters (Shaq, JJ, and Parker).

Cleveland lost to Boston 4 without Shaq and AV after being down by 20+.

Boston lost to Cleveland by 20 without Pierce for the whole game and Shaq out for 2 1/2 quarters

Boston lost to Cleveland by 11 fully healthy with Cleveland missing Shaq.

So 2 wins by each team, Cleveland winn by combined 31 and Boston by combined 10.
