Being a big guy, I run into this a lot. Waist can go two inches in either direction, but generally, I'm a 40x34, and that's insanely hard to find most places. Honestly, the most success I've found has been ordering jeans online.

Those extreme flex jeans my wife got me...I’m a 33 or 34 and I swear they’d be fine up to 38 lol

I’m a 32x35 and usually have trouble finding much. I️ settle with a 34 length and usually buy new when they start to look like highwaters.

I know it probably sounds stupid and expensive, but have you considered buying a 36 length and then have a tailor alter to your length?

Probably not worth it for everyday jeans, but if I were to drop some money on a premium label I'd definitely pay the $20 to get them tailored.

Taylor Stitch only does a 36 in inseam. Their civic pants line are awesome.

It makes sense to do if I️ needed. Like you mentioned, I️ don’t really buy any high end jeans. Banana sells 32x35 for all my dress pants and my suits are tailored. For sweats and such, I️ usually just wear them short.
