Interesting. Seems all of the media coverage shows looters breaking into stores, coming out with boxes of shoes and electronics. I'll have to search youtube for all of the home invasions of looters in flooded areas. Of course, maybe many of the home owners in those flooded areas were holding guns and not video cameras.....

I would have to assume that most retailers have cameras and most homeowners do not. Common sense would explain why the media is reporting business loots and not residential. Reporting something that has no evidence to back them up will never reach headlines.

Now that's the right attitude. That's like saying, "If you don't like the ___________ in the US, you might want to consider moving to Canada/Luxembourg/Sweden/etc." There are reasons some people don't move beyond apathy.

Eh, I dunno. Theft WITHOUT natural disasters happens pretty regularly in poor neighborhoods. Wouldn't be a stretch to think it would increase in a natural disaster.

Of course, logic dictates that there is better quality merch in more affluent neighborhoods, and more of it. But there are also more security measures. Like Vegas, the more conservative bets have better odds of success.

    Tell that to Hannity.
