Chicago dog can be very good eating experience and then again can be a complete failure, depending on the who making it, the process and quality of the products used. Like any type of Coney dog its all about the quality of the recipe and the cooking style.

    Tommy's is our go-to pizza.....
Tommy's is bomb. I've been going to the one on Lane since high school.

My fav pizza in Cbus is the Hilliard DiCarlos. Gahanna Pizza Plus also one of my regular spots.

No idea. Still costs too much if that's the case. That's $1 more than Little Caesar's large and worse pizza.

I actually don't mind Domino's since they changed their recipe a few years ago. It used to be complete crap, now it's not too bad. That said, I can't remember the last time I had it.

I have yet to come across a pizza that I wasn't able to choke down, TBH.

DiCarlo's sounds intriguing - do they have any other locations? A co-worker brought in Cottage Pizza from Hilliard, and we found one closer in Circleville, I really like their flavor and texture.

I remember Pizza Plus in Bexley winning Columbus Monthly's best pizza survey year after year in the 1980's. I figured it just had be good and tried it around 1987, but was extremely disappointed. I rated it very mediocre. I had high expectations, but just figured those yuppy readers didn't like a zesty pizza.

I went back 10 or 15 years ago, and I grudgingly agreed it wasn't too bad - and better than Tommy's, LOL.

    On a scale of 1-10, Dominoes is a 4.5, Little Caesars is a 2.2.

Every once in awhile we 'll slip on over to Indiana and get pizza king....pretty damned good.

Is cicis even a thing anymore? I've only been to them in Pennsylvania.

Pizza Hut is my least fave with Papa John's a close 2nd. I will eat Domino's and Little Caesars all day over those.

No. It has to do with the terrible toppings! Neon green relish. Speared pickle. Etc

Only one location in Columbus. It's a chain based out of the Ohio Valley, there are several locations in that area. Elm Grove and Wheeling, WV are the ones I frequent when I'm home.

    This.

It's not that some are good and some are bad. I just don't like half the toppings on it.

Yeah, but Caesars dipping sauces are AWESOME. That's what I should go buy for Papa John's breadsticks/cheesesticks.

Papa Johns makes it through your digestive system in typically about 6 days
