2003: Take a commanding lead on a team and watch their QB enter god mode. A friend and I would do franchises and compare our stats and shit; we used fairly long quarters and found our pass defense was pure trash because Peyton Manning would have 150 yards through 3 quarters and then hit 4 70-yard TDs in the fourth. Also, offensive linemen were impossible to build up because the game never gave out pancakes.

2004: I did a franchise where I was the only team with a decent OL and every other OL in the league somehow fell below 70. On the other hand, I had a season where Deuce McAllister had 2500 yards and 30+ TDs and went down a point at the end of the season.

2005: Lord, the draft gave you the most hilariously fucked up players. A RB with 98 speed and 36 quickness, so you never actually saw that speed, since he'd be drilled behind the line every damn time. One dimensional OL guys with 92 pass block and 52 run block.
lol pretty much. The BS come from behind BS was infuriating. I recall 05 being specifically horrid. '04 was my year.

I then got into Madden online, but it was never great....wayy too buggy. Then I discovered FIFA and I pretty much ditched all other games.

I currently don't even have a console, but I occasionally price PS4s, but I know that's not a smart investment.
Same, I loved NCAA and Madden in college. My roommate and I even did the import player thing from NCAA created player. Ray Jackson (bloodsport lol) was a 3 yr starter at tOSU setting NCAA sack records leading OSU to 3 NCs, then joined the browns and led to multiple SBs run before a career ending back injury at the age of 26/27 :(

lol the QB cone. They most hated thing in Madden after having to play against Mike Vick.

I'm not sure what year it was exactly, but it they had QB vision and Moss was on the Raiders. He was ungodly fast. Go route from the slot was damn near unstoppable.

We had two TVs in our living room, 6 dudes in a house on Lane. It was mayhem.

I think I am in the minority, but I liked QB vision once I got used to it. It made the game a bit more realistic. QB vision was single handedly implemented, because the year before you had Mike Vick being unstoppable. I remember people would use WRs at QB too and it would just be unrealistic with the shit they were pulling off.

Did you try calling your family doc? If there's a nurse practitioner or physician assistant on staff they probably could have squeezed you in.

When i was in high school we cut down a christmas tree from a farm that had some PI growing in it unknowingly to us. We trimmed it up and I wasn't wearing gloves. I had it everywhere. My eye was swollen shut from it at some point and had to miss a couple days of school.
