It's been a while since he was around the forums, I forgot his username. Was it Upper90?

RIP Chris Cornell... Liked both bands but was a bigger fan of Audioslave. Sucks for anyone who was looking forward to them at ROTR this weekend.

We were friends although he may not have known. RIH

This morning they were talking about this on one of the local TV stations and were showing the video (Hunger Strike) from Temple of the Dog. They kept showing Eddie Vedder, talking about Cornell's death. I'm thinking "you dumbasses...they are going to think Vedder died."

That may be the creepiest post in the history of the OC....

I grew up in the 70's but i liked Soundgarden and Alice In Chains. I always thought they both had a Black Sabbath / Deep Purple vibe about them. Cornell was a great frontman and he will be missed.

Yeah, not even close to the top 10, imo. And I'm sure half of the top 10 belongs to Snot.

    Pretty liberal there.

Chester Bennington committed suicide today on Cornell's birthday. They were supposedly very good friends. Linkin Park played a tribute for Cornell on Jimmy Kimmel earlier this year, I think on the actual evening of the suicide.

Almost posted this earlier. Listened to a lot of Hybrid Theory and Meteora when I was in high school.
