How long is your daily commute?

I don't really have any issues at the end of my workday. I shut my computer down and turn the phone off between 5-5:15 every day. I still check emails and calls throughout the evening, but I did that before, too.ernest_t_bass;1853764 wrote:When your "work day" is done, are you able to view the house as your home, and continue to do "house work?"
I will say that I rarely take an actual lunch break, which I did daily when I was in an office. Now, I am lucky if I get 30 minutes when it is supposed to be an hour. It's hard for me to rely on my boss to handle things I am already working on in the middle of the day, so I would rather just take the calls and emails myself. That's more of a me problem, I suppose. I can be a control freak.
There have been times where I haven't left my house in two or three days, so I try to make an effort to get out and about even if I have nothing in particular going on. -
TedShecklerI used to commute an hour and 45 minutes, EACH WAY. Basically 4 hours on the road. I did that for 15 years. Moved last year. Now I'm down to 8 minutes.

I assume these are the same thing and stand for "working from home?"Automatik;1853763 wrote:My new job is similar, flexible hours, option to WFM. Fucking amazing. I've been at a very rigid place prior. 9-5:30, had to kiss ass to leave even 15 min early. -
Automatiklol yeah...old habit. Used that acronym all the time in the past. Whole Foods Market.

Are we expected to guess your exact distance? I'll go with more than ten but less than 12 miles.Spock;1853662 wrote:i can run to work in about 1 hour and 10 minutes
