Mac n cheese vs tuna casserole

  • Belly35
Two items I grow up with ... It was a staple with my mom an I. Seems welfare had lots of noodle, cheese and tuna to give out.
i understand that there a hundred different way to prepare both.

    Which one is your favorite?

I love mac n cheese ... Army Mac n cheese is alway the best. If it does taste any good just add ketchup.
Tuna casserole noodles, mushroom soup, tuna topped with corn flakes.. Wow so good..... Always taste better the next day fried and crispy.

    i love them both...

Tuna is disgusting. Mac and Cheese is delicious. This is an easy answer.

you don't like fish taco do you...

My grandma actually made a lot of tuna casserole. It sucked. Mac & cheese is also overrated.

I don't like any seafood. Was forced to have Barracuda in Barbados, and that was tolerable. But I've never liked any other seafood I've tried.

    Mac and Cheese easily.

Mac and cheese is top 3. Tuna casserole is bottom 3. Awful question

Agreed. I have made at least ten different mac and cheese recipes, and Chrissy Teigen's is my fave. Highly recommend.

    Yeah, tuna is absolutely disgusting.

    Mac and cheese definitely.

To my recollection, my mother never fixed tuna casserole. She did fix tuna fish sandwiches regularly, I liked those with dill pickle slices.

The only mac-n-cheese Mom fixed was Kraft, out of the box, which wasn't that often. The first time I had home-made M&C it was at a girlfriend's family cookout. I said, what's this? LOL. Kraft was the only type I knew.

Being a one-income family growing up, my parents were fairly frugal. Spaghetti was a common meal, as was "poor-boy casserole", which I never cared for.

I LOVE Kraft mac and cheese. They have changed the flavor pack a little in the last few years, so it's not as orange as before. It is still a go to for me.

My mom makes great homemade mac and cheese. I never knew what cheeses she used, so one day I asked. Come to find out she just used whatever she had in the fridge.

I love a good mac and cheese, but we only eat it when we go out for lunch/dinner. My wife makes a great tuna noodle casserole that is easy to make and reheats well in a toaster oven. This is pretty close to a tossup for me, but I'd go with mac and cheese if I had to pick one.

Mac and cheese for me as well. I never liked tuna out of a can. I do like fresh tuna but not sure if you would want to use that for a casserole.

Grew up on Kraft. Love it. But I've pivoted to Annie's in the last few years. Wife made me try it, and I can't stray from the shells.

Yes, I'm a soon to be 31 year old who eats boxed Mac and Cheese at least once a month haha.

Yep. Corn flakes, potato chip, ritz crackers, bread crumbs, dried onion mix, Chinese noodles if it was getting old in the cabinet it was perfect for a topping on tuna casserole

I love them both. Wife, however, does not like either. So I fix it for myself sometimes.

I'll fix the Mac & Cheese and add a can of tuna to it sometimes too.

Have no issue with tuna casserole but mac & cheese with Frank's Red Hot on it is money.

Both mac and tuna are frequent after work snacks for me. Don't really like tuna salad though. I do really like the hickory smoked tuna that comes in individual packs.
