Earliest memory - Christmas 1961, just about to turn 3
    - our apartment building back then, there was a unique couple in another unit, the husband was a dwarf, wife was a midget. The only adults I knew back then I could look at eye-level
    - moving into our house in 1962 - actually we drove to the construction site, and Dad took me up to the hole in the ground to show me the basement that had just been poured, and telling me our house would be built soon
    - 1962 - going to Camden Amusement Park in Huntington with another family. They had hand-cranked individual railroad cars that I rode on.
    - 1962, my father and I taking a train to Chicago to pick Mom up from a 6-week detail in Omaha
    - getting a record player and drumset for Christmas that year
    - going to McDonald's after grocery shopping, and watching folks play Putt-Putt next door
    - watching Captain Kangaroo and Luci's Toyshop in the morning
    - my first day of of kindergarten, and first day of first grade
    - having a toy six-shooter that actually fired plastic bullets
    - having milk delivered to our doorstep in glass containers
    - fighter planes from Lockbourne Air Force Base creating sonic booms over our neighborhood

Tough to figure out a timeline of memories, but the 95 World Series was one of my first. I was almost five.

    Damn.

    edit:

And I don't mean anything bad by that comment.

It's meant that you are so young to have that as an early memory.

Here's one for the old timers:

    b-o, n-o, m-o, o-o-o.........it's Bonomo!

    - Opening game of Jacobs Field. Dad got tickets for the first game ever, I've been hooked ever since (was 8)

    - Along those lines, listening to Hammy call Tribe games with my dad, driving home from random athletic events

    - Grandma taking my me and my sister to McDonalds (only time we were allowed fast food)

    - A little older, but the 2 hours after high school before basketball practice with the team, just fucking around.

    - Grill out with the whole family during the spring, summer and fall

    - Watching Indiana basketball with my dad. Alan Hendersons broken leg still makes my dad cry. And 2002 we had so much fun in March. Still the greatest 3 weeks of basketball we have watched together.

My grandparents had a mini farm the chickens would be out in the yard he had a hostile rooster that would attack and peck at the back of my legs. I got pissed and turned around and gave it a throat kick. It dropped dead. I hid it in the barn and never owned up to it.

My grandparents lived about a 1/4 mile away. Remember waking up and and running over to grandpa's chicken coop and getting fresh eggs cracking one open in the frying pan and getting the prized double yoke.

Dad would hard boil eggs for his lunch bucket. The old school kind. Our fridge had the egg compartment he would keep the hard boiled on one side and the uncooked eggs on the other. One day I switched them. Needless to say Dad was pissed.

Most of my earliest memories involve my younger brother and sister being born. I was five when my mom had them. There are some from when I was younger than that, but they become consistent around that time.

I like the way you phrased that. I think mine started solidifying around 3 and a half, like I kinda woke up from a daze. Before that, some individual memories, but nothing organized. Interesting how our brains develop from babies to post-toddlers.

My mom won tickets at work and took my oldest brother. She was a single mom of five kids and when he saw how much money tickets were going for outside the stadium, he told her she could sell them and he wouldn't be upset. She declined.

    BB gun wars
Watching my younger brother being pulled out of Tappan Lake in '82, he's in his 30's now alive and well
Shooting hoops in the driveway and in grandpas barn
Exploring the woods with my brothers and Uncle
    Little League Baseball
Trying to smoke out a squirrel from a hollowed tree, fire department ended up in the back yard, told dad why the FD was there about 4ish years ago. That happened over 30 years ago.
Getting caught in my GF's bedroom by her mom in the middle of the night as a young teen, her mom went go get her dad, the gravel driveway didn't phase my bare feet as I ran for my life
    Toilet papering town every Halloween
Meeting my wife on a blind date at 18
