    No Gibwok on the poll?

Coin flip between Rose, Brown and Brown on who should be there.

I went with Rose. He would be the most nationally recognizable face on it and his accomplishments on the field are probably the hardest to argue against. Plus I like baseball.

Are you sure about that? I voted for Larkin as well and he still only has 1 vote.

Not as many OSU fans on here as you'd think, and even less, I'd wager, on this forum.

Btw, my issue with Rose and the reason I didn't vote for him is because he is only recognized as a good player due to his longevity.

I don't think that's the only reason he's recognized as a good player, but it's probably the biggest reason due to compiling 4256 hits. He would still have HOF numbers if you threw out his last 5 or 6 (maybe a couple more) seasons.

According to baseball-reference his black ink HOF monitor for his career is 64 (14th all time) and the average black ink for a HOFer is 27. He had a 58 through his age 37 season.

That was sarcasm. I don't think you were around when gut made this argument. I am just poking fun at him. Rose is clearly is a HOF caliber player.
