FB for friends and people of your past. Twitter more up to date and news.

For what you do I'd say you'll get more action on FB

If you go with Twitter his handle is @realDonaldTrump

I deleted FB 6 months ago, and my life has been better without it lol. Twitter for me.

I see a lot more white trash Trump supporters on Facebook than Twitter, so I'd say FB for you.

Facebook is to see photos of the grandkids.
Twitter is to see/post news and debate.

Facebook is complete garbage now. It has turned into every dumbass in the world providing their political commentary thinking they are changing the world.

I use social media for mainly one thing, to connect with family/friends and see what is going on in their lives. For that reason alone, I prefer Facebook, it's much more personal. With that said, there are cons to it, many people use it to post things they definitely shouldn't and I can't stand the political banter (again, I'm there for one reason).

For news? I go straight to Twitter. Quick, direct and to the point to find anything you need with a simple search.

Pretty much the only reason I keep my account active. I have family in turkey and it's the best way to keep in touch.

I use Facebook to keep up with friends and out of town family.

Only reason I have FB is bc I tried to delete it and couldn't access a bunch of websites (spotify, strava, airbnb) I signed up through FB SMH. Wish I could get rid of it.

I have way too many on both sides of the equation, both of which get tiresome after a while.

The bashers will type walls of text about what stupid thing Trump said or tweeted that day (the gift that keeps on giving, sadly) or how his PR team (Conway, Spicer) made an idiot out of themselves again (another that keeps on giving), with about half of them still convinced that Bernie would have won. Cute, but gets old quickly.

The supporters tend to not have the smarts to type more than a couple sentences at once, but make up for it with (1) memes or pictures in general, (2) laughing at snowflakes despite being one for the past eight years or (3) being a snowflake because people aren't 100% in support of Trump.

The saddest part is that things would be the same if Trump didn't win, with libs doing the "get over it snowflake" rhetoric and the cons crying like bitches and refusing to accept reality.

Sounds like you've decided to go with FB.

Make sure you go through your "Settings" and go through the WHOLE thing, not just general settings, to make sure it is the way you want it.

OC'ers can probably give suggestions on what to turn off or on in the settings.

I also unfollow the politards and such and like you say, they don't know.
  • friendfromlowry
I don't have many politards on my feed. My mother-in-law constantly shares quizzes with stupid questions like "ONLY 10% OF PEOPLE CAN SOLVE THIS IN LESS THAN A MINUTE. ARE YOU ONE OF THEM?" and the question is something like solve for x: 7 + x = 32
