Akron/Canton/Cleveland Golf

wildcats20Couple buddies and I are headed up in a few weeks for a weekend golf getaway. I know of several courses we are looking to play.
Was wondering if anyone knows of any courses that have an All You Can Play deal?
We are for sure playing The Quarry, so any courses along those lines is an option. -
ZWICK 4 PREZwhere are you staying?
-
wildcats20Cuyahoga Falls, at a friend's condo. Basically across the street from Brookledge Golf Club. Distant to a course isn't really an issue.
-
ZWICK 4 PREZWell while you're down in Canton area, Play Quarry like you mentioned and then The Legends in Massillon. both off 30, both easy to get from one another.
Head over to Medina one day and play Shale Creek, then Copper Top.
Head out to Metro Parks and play Sleepy Hollow and Manakiki.
And also head out to the East side and play Little Mountain and Fowlers Mill -
wildcats20I knew you would have a list haha. Thanks!
-
arnie palmerZwick's list is very good. I would add Boulder Creek in Streetsboro to your list as well.

ZWICK 4 PREZI used to love Goodpark. The city really has let it go.

Sleepy Hollow, Manakiki, Little Mountain and Fowlers Mill are all on Golfnow. You can get some great deals, especially if are willing to play during the day on a weekday.ZWICK 4 PREZ;1805493 wrote:

For instance, just looked and Fowlers has a $22 tee time available for this Friday which includes 18 and a cart. -
wildcats20We played Sleepy Hollow last October. Really liked the course but was very disappointed that when my buddy called they didn't tell him they had just aerated the greens 3-4 days prior. And they still charged us a full amount. But really liked the layout.

I make this drive daily for work, only about 10-15 minutes apart, not too bad. Legends is 27 holes as well. I know Legends was advertising that they were dropping rates to drum up business (it's city owned and they weren't happy with revenues)ZWICK 4 PREZ;1805493 wrote:Well while you're down in Canton area, Play Quarry like you mentioned and then The Legends in Massillon. both off 30, both easy to get from one another.
You've got Tam O' Shanter (36 holes) another 10-15 minutes (if that) up from Legends in Hills and Dales as well, if you did a Stark County day I know TOS has an all you can golf til dark after 6pm if you did the others first. -
bases_loadedLittle Mountain was a mess last July. I'd call and ask how their greens are before playing there.

4cards...another course I've played between Akron and Canton is Rain Tree. Pretty good challenge for the average golfer.

I used to live down the road from Rain Tree and agree it is a good course to play as well, just not quite as nice as the other listed. Another nice course that is close to that is Seven Hills in Hartville as well.4cards;1805670 wrote:...another course I've played between Akron and Canton is Rain Tree. ZWICK 4 PREZYeah I love Seven Hills.. Old school, tough course.
-
wildcats20Seven Hills is being considered, for sure.
-
4cards...agree with everyone else, LOVE 7hills in Hartville.

wildcats20So our weekend has turned into basically just Saturday and maybe a round Sunday morning. We are playing the Quarry Saturday afternoon, to save a little money.
Thinking about Legends for Saturday morning. Is there a better combo of 18 than another?
We might get Seven Hills Sunday morning. Or try and get back to Columbus early and play around home. -
