Memorial Day Weekend
May 27-30, 2016
Jackson Township Safety Center
Be part of the fifth annual Field of Heroes.
On Memorial Day weekend, May 27-30, the corner of Fulton and Wales, at the Jackson Township Safety Center, will become a spectacular display of red, white and blue with hundreds of American flags flying row upon row to honor the heroes in our lives. Click here to view the full schedule of events.
The Rotary Club of Jackson Township is sponsoring the event in collaboration with the Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce, Jackson Township Board of Trustees, Fire Department, Police Department, Parks Department, Jackson Local Schools and numerous volunteers.
The Field of Heroes is an opportunity for community members to pay tribute to their personal heroes (living or deceased) by contributing a $35 flag to fly in the Memorial Day display.
Heroes come in many forms: veterans, current members of the military, firefighters, teachers, police officers, coaches, mentors, medical professionals, family members, and friends. Fly a flag bearing your hero's name in Jackson's Field of Heroes.
