I guess what I meant was are you going to Amsterdam (I assume)or are you going somewhere else?Commander of Awesome;1782230 wrote:No clue. I'm not much of a planner, prob just land in the city center and go from there. I dont smoke weed, and wont be getting a hooker but will still have a good time. Any recommendations feel free to send em along.
One of the nice things about the Netherlands is almost everyone speaks English. My first time there, my flight was delayed by a day. I missed my connecting flight in Chicago due to shitty weather so they redirected me through England and my luggage was lost in the process. When I got off the plane I wasn't quite sure if my girlfriend would be there, what to do about my luggage or even what to do for customs. I don't speak any dutch but it wasn't a problem. She was there, which was great, but on the other side of security so I had to figure everything out on my own. I was a little nervous getting off the plane. -

I enjoyed the canal boat tour. We did not go to the Ann Frank house and I really regret it. We did go to a sex museum which sounded much cooler than it was. It was basically a lot of old porn and sex toys.Automatik;1782355 wrote:
Some random touristy things...
Canal boat tour
Ann Frank house
Van Gogh museum
Vondelpark (VG museum close to here)
Keukenhof Gardens and Tulip Fields tours (depending on time of year)
Sex show? Didn't go, heard they are fucking crazy though
Amazing club scene also if you're into that -

Spent a lot of time around the Gulf Shores when we lived in Biloxi, but I had never heard of that one. Looks nice though!gerb131;1782444 wrote:http://www.gulfshores.com/things-to-do/attractions/family-fun/springfamilytravel/

I looked that up on the map. We always went to Dulphin Island. So we were on the opposite side all the time. Loved it then, but after living in Hawaii for 3 years and now the west coast, not sure I'd enjoy thay water nowgerb131;1782654 wrote:Gulf Shores are lovely

redstreak oneI might stay in a cardboard box down by the river this year! Lol. Wife's car needs tires, I just had to put new compressor on my truck, washer broke, microwave also and now wife wants a new sectional! My coaching check which we use for vacation is spent along with tax return! Argggghhhhhhh, I swear I am going to quit and live off the gubmint!
