Kids these days

TiernanMillenials & Gen Xrs deserve whatever tragedy finds them for fucking up all the good work the Boomers finally we're getting under control. I mean these little shits could fuck up a free lunch (which a lot of them get ).

iclfan2A kid getting called a racial slur on campus should have 0 to do with the president of the school. People are such thin skinned wusses these days. I will forever root against the Missouri football team.

The irony of course is that BYU speaks out against homosexuality, which is extra sensitive for a school who housed the first openly gay player. Why are the athletes at Missouri not boycotting playing a homophobic school?friendfromlowry;1762826 wrote:Can't wait for the Missouri football game where they'll probably be received as heroes for "making a difference". -

Belly35All college coaches listen Belly suggestion:
Pay to play that is what your players scholarship means.
Like in the real world you are paid to come to work and do a job.
You want to boycott ... and not play ...... great I hope you find a place to eat and sleep for the next remaining day on campus.
Scholarships are cut off via breach of contract ... Hope it was worth it .... renegotiations scholarships in room 101 …
University Administration this is what you get when you let the teaching of a liberal education and liberal staff run your college class rooms. What has happen is the system in which you taught for generations has come to bit you in the ass.
Time to grow a pair, prepare the students for the real world that has no "safe place" because there is no such place, set the standard, rule and obligation, hold true to this requirements.
How many times have we seen this knee jerk reaction, careers destroyed all based on a lie, fabricated situation with no verified evidences, facts and individuals held accountable. -

South Park is the best. I am glad they are attacking the ***** "pc" culture in our country these days, because most college students watch SP. I hope it helps some college students come back down to reality.sherm03;1762658 wrote: -

Your suggestion is great for schools willing to essentially give their football program a de facto death penalty, since doing that sort of thing would likely cause most/all incoming recruits to renege on their commitment, as well as cause a mass exodus. Putting all the race stuff aside, this is the sort of thing that has to be a nightmare for the NCAA.Belly35;1762899 wrote:All college coaches listen Belly suggestion:

A group of players threatened to strike, a college president steps down. Big athletics (ie: football) is a huge cash cow and a university made a huge change due to that being threatened. Athletes held the power; not coaches nor administration. I could see this being the first step towards the NCAA being blown the fuck up with their byzantine eligibility rules and overwhelming desire to prevent athletes from getting much of any compensation for their efforts beyond that scholarship. If enough players give a loud enough "FUCK THIS!", the NCAA as we know it will crumble to dust. -

You do realize that the Greatest Generation refers to the parents of the Baby Boomers?Heretic;1762576 wrote:The Greatest Generation! (at deflecting all responsibility for any real or perceived failings of future generations from them to anything else, including vaguely defined entities). -

So little pushback...it's Nazi-esque. Who has the balls to stand for the first amendment?People are scared. They're scared to be accused of bigotry or racism, an ugly accusation that is easy to level but impossible to disprove. It's a lazy but effective method of intimidation.
I have said this before and been rebuked on this site, but, the "Progressive" left is one of the most dangerous threats to American values and liberty. They are intolerant to dissent from their elitist views...they are self righteous even beyond the most zealous fundamentalist Christians, believing in no higher authority then their own elitism. They use tactics that are Nazi-esque.... McCarthy-esque to persuade, coerce, and intimidate people into accepting their narrative. They respect nothing,... tradition, religious morality, not even the Constitution of the United States is sacred if it stands in their way. They will use any means to accomplish their ends. People brushed aside their attacks on the 2nd amendment and they are successful in persuading some people that it is an anacronism....but witness what is now transpiring, and call them out on it. -

just one coach, just one college and the bar would then be set again to a level of ... I need to get my shit together and figure out what is benifitial to me....
i would also bet that recruiting for that coach would benifit him in better athletes -

Hey, if you here any offensive speech take a photo, get a license #, and call the campus police.
You started the thread asking [what was wrong] with "Kids today".....nothing except they are being manipulated and used as pawns in a bigger game. -

This. why they just didn't say "go pound sand" is still puzzling to me. and if the football team goes on strike, take their scholarships and find someone else who wants to play football.like_that;1762815 wrote:Wolfe is a ***** for stepping down. -

There are plenty of meatheads who would go play there. plus, if they cant field a team, shut it down.....then shut down all the programs that the football money supports. that will really give those students something to whine about.sleeper;1763157 wrote:No one would play there. -
