Golf....ended in high school in the districts as I fell short of qualifying for state but did birdie the final two holes. Decided on baseball at Wilmington College....golf and baseball both in spring in college. Transferred to Rio Grande no golf team.
Basketball...played 1 JV scrimmage in 10th grade and was done as I already played 2 other sports.
Baseball....lost in the district semis my senior year to Washington CH. doubled in my final AB. Played fall ball at Wilmington College....got homesick as hell and transferred to Rio Grande to play but their team traveled to Florida and forfeited 2 games as coach and players all out drinking....wasn't for me. -
Laley23Soccer - Lost in state quarterfinals after going 21-0 up to that point. Tried to continue at Indiana University as an invited participant to walk-on over a partial scholarship at Xavier and full grant at Ohio Weslyan. Basically, they tell you you can play and practice with the team, but no guarantee you make it when rosters are trimmed. 5 invitees, I was last one cut.
Basketball - Lost in District final. Got stripped on a drive in the last second in a game we were losing by 1 as heavy underdogs. My coach had me hold the ball at midcourt for 1:45 and then drive. Great strategy, better defense by my opponent. Basketball is my one true love when it comes to sports, this one hurts to this day. Not many kids have that opportunity...I did, but didn't come through. Elected to try for soccer instead of partial grant at Ohio Wesleyan (coupled with soccer would've been a full grant).
Tennis - Lost in the state tournament in doubles. I was #2 singles and teamed with one of the #1 doubles player for the tournament. We blew 5-1 leads in both sets and lost in the 2nd round of the tournament. Guys we Los too went to the finals. This would still hurt, but tennis was far and away my least favorite sport of the 3. As a team, we lost in the final four. Our #1 singles made it to the final 8, I think had the two of us gone doubles we would've won. Tried to walk on at Indiana, but lost a challenge match to another walk-on in 3 sets. He lost the next match, so I had no shot lol. -

queencitybuckeyeFootball - A loss to Hiram College, mercifully ending a 2-7 season after a 2-0 start.

Wildcat24Baseball: Pitched in an all star game for Portage County against Summit County. Struck out the final 5 batters of the game (after walking the bases loaded prior to that. Up and down performance lol.)

supermanBasketball- walked off the court in the middle of the first half in a college game when I decided I'd dealt with enough stupidity.
Football lost in the last game in 8th grade 44-0 against Waverly. The game was two days after my sister's funeral. Parents went into over protective mode and I didn't play in high school.
Track finished 5th in the regional finals. As far as I know, the medal is still laying on the field at Pickerington. -

bigkahunaFootball: Lost Home playoff game to Cincinnati Wyoming after a questionable penalty called back the game winning TD

FatHobbitWrestling - I was a terrible wrestler but I would have liked to continue. We moved after my freshman year of high school and my new school didn't have wrestling.
Track - I went to a very small school and we had 4 mediocre 800 guys. We made a decent 4x800 team because most schools that small couldn't find 4 guys who were at least ok. At regionals one of the four decided he wanted to conserve energy for one of his other events and ran the slowest time he'd ran all year. He didn't qualify for state in his individual event either. IliketurtlesTrack and Field (College Jr) - April 28, 2007 at Hillsdale College. 5K in 16:05.
Cross Country (College Sr) - September 25, 2007. I had gotten injured earlier in the summer and still wasn't back to 100% but kept trying to run. Eventually I just got burnt out and quit running competitively. My last race was an 8K in 28:32. -

OSHBaseball -- played from kindergarten through high school, wasn't all that good (especially hitting). Loved playing outfield.
Basketball -- played from 4th to 8th grade, never played in high school. Definitely sucked.
Wrestling -- kindergarten through 4th grade. Chalk me up as another "wished I woulda..." I love wrestling. Almost went back out in high school.
Soccer -- played from 1st or 2nd grade (whenever it started in my hometown) then played all through college. Finished my career with a 2-1 loss in OT. Did some nice things with the program I played for -- tied then-school record in wins and won first conference championship. It's a shame to see it now. -
ZoltanBaseball - lost state semi's by one run to eventual champ (D2)
Football - lost in second round of playoff's by 3. We had the ball inside the five trying to tie or win but our soph QB threw his 5th pick of the game. As a defensive player this did not sit well haha. We should not have been throwing the ball at all. (D2)
