Owner/GM/Coach

  • Ironman92
Keep money from being any factor in this.

Would you choose to be a professional team owner, GM or coach/manager?

Owner would be cool...but also not so much. I wouldn't mind GM of baseball only but I'd easily choose manager. I know the GM's have a ton of say a lot of times on what the manager is doing and stuff but I still would love to be in charge of the in game moves, decisions and being with a leading a team. Obviously a lot of crappy stuff with it (media, beat writers, wearing the damn uniform lol)

    Football OC. Without a doubt.

NFL? You kicking a 44 yard FG on the road, down 2 with 2:45 left on 4th and 1?

    Owner EZ

100% job security, all the perks, and can pwn knuckleheads.

    Owner.

I would be involved in the Mark Cuban sense. Wouldnt fuck around with personnel like Jerry Jones.

I don't want to sit up there with pretentious people who likely know nothing or care little about sports. I'd have to be Cuban for sure.

NFL GM. Have always thought that would be awesome.
  • hasbeen
    NFL owner or MLB Manager.

That depends on my Oline, but I'd rather run in in the B gap.

Out of those 3... Owner no doubt about it. Definitely wouldn't want to be the coach.
  • Mulva
I would absolutely be a Jerry Jones owner.
  • Zoltan
    Owner for sure.

Being a coach is totally different depending on sport. Baseball most of the job is managing people and ego's, as the in game moves are way less complicated. Football coaching is a whole different animal, and I would want zero part of it. Especially college where they throw recruiting on top of it all.
  • OSH
Owner. That's easy. Although, realistically, coaching is my profession, so seeking to be a coach at higher levels is something we all dream of at some capacity.

GMs and Coaches/Managers have zero job security.

So would I. At least with the strippers.

As far as football stuff, I'd at least hope I was too busy with the strippers to think "Hey, I did well that one time in fantasy football and I always used to make great dynasty teams on Madden, so real life football team-crafting shouldn't be much more difficult, eh?", so I wouldn't be Jerry-like there.

I'd be a Coach / GM in the mold of a Lombardi - Parcells type except I'd be better at it than either of them were.
  • BRF
    None of the choices.

Well, wait, before you say I have to choose one...... It would be owner.

Because that would mean I was deliriously rich.

Anyone picking something other than owner is a dump ass.

Owner = rich and could do whatever they wanted

    Money isn't a factor.

MLB manager would be fun. I enjoy managing a game. As an owner, could I also be the manger or GM? But that's not how it works in real life.

I like the reading comprehension and spelling, well done.

    Owner. Nobody fires the owner

But a winning manager is quite heralded among those that played the game.
  • j_crazy
NFL Owner. Can't be fired. Have Ultimate Say. Jimmy Haslam, Stephen Ross, and Dan Snyder area all living proof that any dipshit can do it.
