Spending Time in Milwaukee
-
raiderbuckAnyone spending any time in Milwaukee? Specifically in the downtown area? The wife and I are headed there at the end of October for a weekend trip for our anniversary. The plan is to hit a nice restaurant and maybe a lounge afterwards or the next day. Unfortunately, it'll be Halloween (I hate Halloween) so she's going to want to hit some club on Saturday night too. So far, I've been told to try Zarletti's for dinner, and maybe Coquette Cafe for brunch. My hipster friends told me about Balzac (reminds me of ball sack...hehe) too. As far as clubs go? No clue...
Any ideas? -
Ewawell, it's depends what you are intersted in visiting. In October there is a bunch of events starting from bike food tour to Victorian High Tea event. Just check this visitmilwaukee .org/events and choose what you want to do
Have a great anniversary -
Uz2Bon36Visit Cedarburg, which is about 20 minutes North of downtown Milwaukee. A great historic little town.

raiderbuckThanks everyone. I ultimately decided to just stick around in Chicago for the weekend. Got a nice deal on a four star hotel, so we'll do the dinner and dancing thing around town. Milwaukee is only an hour away anyway. I'll save it for another weekend.
