Back in May/June/July I was ridiculously swamped at work and was not able to spend any time on the OC. Once worked slowed down I kinda forgot to check back in on the site. At this point I no longer have the time or interest to put towards the site so I am looking to pass it on to someone else.
As administrator you would have full control over the direction of the site (within reason, I still have advertisers to keep happy). You would be able to pick your moderators, set the rules for the site, etc. You would also be given the keys to the facebook page and twitter accounts. I would still stick on as an admin, but only to assist where/when I am able. I do reserve the right to step in if needed to keep the advertising stream from shutting off.
I am also willing to split the ad revenue from the site. All revenue over a certain threshold (will discuss this with serious candidates) would be split 50/50 with me. It won't pay much (if anything) at the beginning (or maybe ever) but if you think you could increase traffic to the site as an admin there is opportunity to make some money.
To be considered send me a PM with a brief rundown on why you would like to be the admin, a list of 3-5 members you would want to bring on as moderators, and what, if any, changes you would make to the site rules. If there is interest from multiple candidates that I feel would do a good job I may put the final decision up for a vote.
