I saw that a lot of the deals are selling out in seconds.

There was a lot of buzz over it, but I don't know why.

On Black Friday companies are competing with one another for business so they drastically undercut items in order to steal business from others.

This is just a random sale Amazon is having. The deals suck, and most of the items are stupid shit nobody wants anyway.

I just checked and saw a bunch of bad DVD's and a 2 pack of Balaclava's.

    Waste of time.

It seems like they mainly are just clearing out the "old random shit" section in the warehouse

You're taking quite a gamble buying a TV online.

I've bought two TVs from Amazon...opened one up and it was cracked...they sent me a new one the next day.

Only if you buy from somewhere other than Amazon. I've bought 2 from there and no problems, and any problems I've had with them are resolved by the next day.

Check out the TV in person then find it for less online. What's the gamble? If it's wrong return it.

Prime Day has been pretty underwhelming.

    This.

Prime Day was one just big marketing ploy/excuse for Amazon to sell off a bunch of their old random shit that's probably been sitting on their warehouse shelves hogging up space.

Todd Frazier autographed bat is a lightning deal.

I know you can return it, I just think that's a pain in the ass and you're left waiting another week for your TV if needing to.

Individual packages get tossed around more going through UPS/Fed Ex/USPS than if delivered to a store directly, which usually are stacked on pallets in the back of a semi truck.

I saw someone on Twitter comparing Prime Day to your grandma saying, "Help yourself to the candy jar!", when all she has in it are raisins and sugar-free taffy.

This is true, but i believe they also sold a bunch of prime memberships (albeit for $49 bucks instead of $99). So they will count it as a win, as they should.

    Definitely a win for them.
