Fireworks

    Many more sirens out at the campgrounds this weekend than in past years. Everyone was setting off those damned chinese lanterns. Saw 5-6 within a 10 minute span fail very quickly. Luckily the area had a lot of rain this year.
    Most though seemed to end up in the lake!

    Two years ago i bought about 20 Flying Chinese Lanterns I have 5 remaining and now i find out that it is a $250.00 fine to fly them.
    Told the wife we will just tie them down and fly then over our property a reel them in when the start to go out. She not buying into the idea...

    What I know is if you are over the age of 20 or married w/ kids an still playing with fireworks ...... You need a life and you need your ass kick for being immature. Get off your ass , and accomplish something you can see when completed.

    went you have grandkids and want to be the greatest papa ever you light flying lantern that the kids can be part of the construction and lighting.... When the lanterns are out of sight, the kids learned about a mini hot air ballon.... Time with grand papa, love, caring and learning experiences, real world of having fun... This does help

    Didnt stop people at the campground this weekend.
    Matter of fact, people were doing in right in front of the park ranger. Was odd to see so many fail so quickly..not sure I had seen that before. I bet they start cracking down on them though.

    How to kill but not get killed not really reality of what happens, how to move around on a screen but can play pitch or catch for shit, build fort but clueless of tools required to build anything in the real world, lets not forget structure stress analysis because everything built in the fantasy world stay up.
    Went my girls were young we bought a Nintendo set for them after 3 months the addiction of playing for all of the family including me was over the top. I stayed up till 4 in the morning play Lolo level six I think. I realized this is not quality time nor was it health for anyone.
    I was involved in early development of CAD for Mac II, HP and Autodesk…. I thought video game was a great step for the CAD development. I was wrong, it hinder the user. Because they did have the basic understanding of line weights, grids and drawing skills… if it doesn’t have a color they could read the drawing nor want they where creating. Today tool and die shops suffer from this video game color graphic problem. Good new is that over time more higher end developed program ( Rivet) will weed out the less technical applied individual …

    What the fuck does that have to do with anything you have said? You said video game users should have their ass kicked because it doesn't add value to your life. But yet fireworks does? Fireworks are just as childish if not more childish than video games. I don't give a shit what your family did back when you bought a Nintendo, but your all high and mighty attitude is nothing but hypocrisy.

    how does a special education teach or one time student studying special education EMR be so fully of hate and hostility ....
    I should have figure you would have looked into your educational background for some type of reference... Extreme case is not the norm...

    you post durning the day so you have a shift type career... Did get that education degree job... That will create hate and anger ...
    After graduating from college I created a EMR program that is still used in the school system....kids are great when you challenge them with mental and physical applications.

    higher end video games and simulator are very benifitial to advance skill set learning.

    He does need some sort of intervention to deal with his anger issues. Dude is always going off on some rage and belittling everyone. I hope one day he can emerge from that anger and make some well needed improvements in his life and find some sort of happiness.

    No no we did't shoot off fire works this year I bought $60.00 worth of kids items, snakes, smoke bombs, snapper, poppers for the kids to enjoy OUTSIDE as we adults over seen the activities of sharing, socializing and understanding the rule for safety and hot things, the lanterns were from years ago.
    Last year the kids enjoys building them, writing on them and attaching messages plus watching them fly in the night sky.

    You ask if shooting off fireworks is quality time but then you gave the example of recreation activities. Should you not of keep to the question of quality time?
