No thread on the gays?!
-
AutomatikI can't believe we don't have a thread on this already. I figured we'd have some outraged posters.
SCOTUS rules in favor for gay marriage 5-4.
My reaction....
It's pride week in NYC. I've heard West Village is insane right now. -
SportsAndLadyWe talked about it on the Obama sucks thread lol
-
sherm03I'm just surprised Belly didn't start a thread that was hard to understand but left you with the feeling that he hated gays but pretends like he doesn't.
-
AutomatikIt's still early. I expect at least a few faux-rage posts.

I'm sure he'll find a way to roll it into a political/Obama thing sooner or later.sherm03;1737502 wrote:I'm just surprised Belly didn't start a thread that was hard to understand but left you with the feeling that he hated gays but pretends like he doesn't. -

without my threads this site would be a circle jerk of trolls..sherm03;1737502 wrote:I'm just surprised Belly didn't start a thread that was hard to understand but left you with the feeling that he hated gays but pretends like he doesn't. -
iclfan2Regardless of your views on homosexual marriage (I have relatives and good friends that are gay) this is an absurd over-reach by the federal government. This should be a state by state issue.

gutEveryone had the right to get married. Now everyone has the right to marry who they want, well unless their SO is an animal.

AutomatikAbsurd? LOL

Sure! Because I disagree about having a bigger federal government, and don't believe the Supreme Court should be legislating from the bench I should stfu. People can't have an opinion in your liberal utopia. Not to mention that 4 of the 9 justices dissented, not that gay people shouldn't marry, but that it is not up for the federal government to decide.SportsAndLady;1737520 wrote:Oh Jesus. STFU

what? ... We need to change that. You should be allowed to marry whatever you want!gut;1737522 wrote:Everyone had the right to get married. Now everyone has the right to marry who they want, well unless their SO is an animal. -

Reading comprehension is your friend. I stated I know and frequently hang out with gays, to further my point that it is a big government issue imo. I never said if I was for or against gay marriage.Ytowngirlinfla;1737528 wrote:No it's a human rights issue. So let me guess you also think that the government should have left it up to the states for interracial marriage, segregation of public schools, etc?iclfan2;1737532 wrote:Reading comprehension is your friend. IggyPride00The militant LBGT movement is already targeting their next victims. There is no tolerance with this group, and you will be made to care whether you like it or not. They won't be happy until the rest of us are as miserable as they are.
They want to come after churches next that won't marry LBGT people and fight to have their tax exempt status taken away (because they aren't following federal laws and discriminating) which would bankrupt many religious organizations.
Anthony Kennedy is the patron saint of gay people right now. -

Well we already know you're a miserable fuck. The LGBT isn't going after churches. Churches have the right to marry whomever they want. Straight, gay, divorced, etc.IggyPride00;1737534 wrote:The militant LBGT movement is already targeting their next victims. I'm guessing the way things are going a goat will be eligible to walk a walrus down the aisle before you know it.gut;1737522 wrote:Everyone had the right to get married. Now everyone has the right to marry who they want, well unless their SO is an animal. -

No...considering neither can enter into a legal agreement, I think you're safe from that.Bio-Hazzzzard;1737536 wrote:I'm guessing the way things are going a goat will be eligible to walk a walrus down the aisle before you know it. -
IggyPride00Cody Brown and his polygamist family should start the process now of getting the lifestyle legalized.
I suspect that is going to be the next frontier (along with attacking religious organizations) in the "fight" to normalize their lifestyles legally. -

This was the right decision. Whether you want more or less government intervention has absolutely nothing to do with this case. This needed to get done and it got done. It's a win, period.
