College World Series.

thavoiceBelieve the field is set after last nights great TCU and AM game.
Started watching in the 9th and it got late but man it was fantastic. PItcher taking one off the chest and the first baseman making the play to the AM 3rd baseman making two errors on the same play to lose it (dont know if they gave him two..but it seemed like it to me but I was zoning out).
Each year I find myself getting further away from MLB and more into college and MiLB. Those college games they just seem to play with more enthusiasm. I get it, MLB play 162 and need to stay more even kieled (sp) but these college games are fantastic.

IliketurtlesI love the CWS. I think Florida takes it. Personally I am rooting for CSF and TCU. I have a feeling we are going to see 2 SEC teams face off for the championship though. One day I hope to make a trip to Omaha. This year would have been awesome as Game 2 of the finals is on my birthday.
As for MiLB I liked it back when I lived in Ohio and it was only 45 minutes to go to a Mud Hens game. And then when I moved down south to Huntsville it had it's a minor league team which made it even easier to go to a game. Sadly last year they decided to move due to Huntsville's outdated baseball stadium. Hopefully they can get a new stadium and then another team sometime soon. -

Typically go to Dayton or Ft Wayne in MiLB. Dayton is ok but always so packed. Both have very nice stadiums and moderately priced and you can enjoy yourselfIliketurtles;1733480 wrote:I love the CWS. Locally we have a Great Lakes Collegiate League team, a wood bat league for college kids. I go to a number of those in June/july. Usually some good baseball to watch.
