Where to Eat in Cincinnati

  • sportchampps
I'm leaving to go to Bunbury today. We're staying in the Millenium Hotel downtown. We will probably go somewhere for lunch each day before going into the festival what are the best places to eat around there. How far is OTR.

I'm not from Cincy, but I really enjoyed Moerlein the 2 times I've been. Good food, beer, and atmosphere.

Yard House down on the river is pretty good.

For a chain, albeit a small one, we really liked Crave.

Almost all the joints at the Banks are good. Crave, Yard House, Moerlein are all winners. Never been to Toby Keith's place.

Have heard great things about Eli's Barbeque.

OTR is about 6 blocks north of where you're at and 2 blocks west I believe. Basically on Vine between 12th and 13th is the heart of OTR. I recommend Nada, The Eagle, Bakersfield, and Rotisserie Revolution. All are very good. Nada is pretty close by where you'll be and they have killer guacamole and queso. The Eagle is the best chicken I've ever had. Bakersfield has tacos and great guacamole as well, while Rotisserie Revolution has chicken in a pita with a lot of toppings depending on which one you get. All are great options in addition to what has been mentioned.

Lachey's in OTR is actually really good. Decently priced and I liked the food.

Also, there's a new arcade bar that opened in OTR on Walnut. If you're looking for something to do after Bunbury is done, I'd recommend going up there and hanging out. It looks cool as hell.

There's a Toby Keith Bar & Grill in Cincy now?

Meh, is my opinion. It's not bad...but, it's nothing special. Their burger is a mediocre chain-restaurant type burger. Seasoning, and even the pepper that was on mine, were all lacking flavor. Fun environment though, I guess.

    All of this.
I will also add Krueger's. Next door to Bakersfield. Good Cuban sandwich.
Tuckers on Vine for breakfast. It looks sketch but food is awesome.

Venice on Vine has decent pizza. I like them more for the fact that they hire homeless people and help them learn job skills as well as life skills.

Only problem with that place is the usually super long waits. I've never had a wait under one hour there
