    Judge announcing verdict now......stay tuned.

Trying to splice through the legal jargon, it seems like the manslaughter charge isn't going to happen, and now is talking about assault charge.

Not guilty on all counts. Stay safe Cleveland. Don't follow the outsiders "protests" from Ferguson and the like.

While I do personally think he executed these people, they gave him an excuse by driving at police cars and putting public in danger. No ones truly innocent in this case.

How could he have executed people who were already dead/ dying? There were 137 shots. Experts agree that they can't say for sure that he administered THE fatal shot and proved that other officers made "kill shots".

While Berlo could be said to have went overboard emptying his magazine while on their hood, protestors calling the 2 innocent is a complete joke. They put countless innocent people and police officers in danger.
The protestors being ignorant to the law makes them just look silly on TV. Not one person has made a reasonable point in regards to why they are upset.

They weren't dead and they died shortly after he shot them. The premise that what he did is ok bc they were probably going to die anyways is a terrible reason. His whole excuse for killing them is was afraid for his life or public safety bc they were using the vehicle to ram cop cars and that can be deadly. The problem with that logic is you're not very scared of someone using their vehicle to kill you if you jump on their hood and empty your magazines.

You must not have heard the judge's explanation.... Being "scared" in the sense you are implying has nothing to do with it.

so about the first 120 shots didn't kill them when the other cops were shooting at varying distances and angles, but it was wrong for him to jump on the hood to finally put an end to their rampage when they were trying to run over cops to get out of the parking lot they were trapped in? By you saying they weren't dead, just made it sound more justified. Whether its 1 shot, or all the rounds a cop carries, you shoot until the threat is stopped.

Exactly. You can be in fear for your life or another's life and not be scared.

To all you arm chair fire flight, video warriors .... The real thing of being in a fire fight, being shot at and having the ability to return fire, pursue and end the encounter is a adrenaline rush, high you will ever experiences. For some guys it is difficult to control the rage and emotional intensity.

simplify the situation: don't break the law, don't run, don't fire at police, stop when you see the police flashing lights, don't use your car as a weapon, don't carry a weapon unless you have a legal permit, don't pull your weapon on police,.... And just maybe you will wake up the next morning alive

BREAKING: Shooting guns in real life is NOT the same as it is on the xbox.

Not sure whether lowry is being sarcastic or not, but Belly is exactly right. When you are in that sort of a situation "adrenaline" literally does take over, and starts pumping as your body goes into fight or flight mode. Even when you are trained, you are never exactly sure how you will react. For some people, and especially those who don't have thorough training, just handling their weapon can be a challenge.

    Then they shouldn't be cops

The pieces of shit got violent last night. Threw a sign at someone and then were getting in verbal altercations with restaurant goers on east 4th.
If you want to protest city hall and the police fine, but stay away from innocent people who don't care to hear about your unintelligent crap. You don't understand law, and you are just proving your ignorance.

oh so you invented the test that determines it?

Of course not. To become a cop you need to undergo thorough training, but even with that , you never are quite sure what will happen when the adrenaline starts flowing. I'm talking about the body's actual physical reaction, and the training necessary to handle it.

I would say if you want to be a cop, you better not be a ***** about using your gun.

its something only a very small percentage of cops will ever do. some never even take their gun out of their holster on duty. its almost impossible to put yourself in that situation to even know how you would react.
