Send me a text tomorrow if you are near division and Dearborn or in lakeview.

Going out early Saturday with the wife and daughter to the beach to hunt for sharks teeth. The rest of the weekend will be devoted to five acres of yard work and fulfilling the "honey do" list.

    Leaving for Pensacola tomorrow.

No. Florida could fall off into the ocean and die for all I care. Easily the worst state in the union.

Usually isnt shit to do in Army towns.
5 things they all pretty much have in common:

Barbers, clothing and sales/sewing places, cash for gold/pawn shops, surplus stores and strip clubs.

People from the "south" are often very quick to point out that Florida is not a part of it. It is very different from NC, SC, Tenn, Georgia, etc.

Florida is not part of the south. Its a state full of northern transplants and vacationers.
  • Fab4Runner
Pish posh. I'd try to distance myself, too.

I've lived in the South for the last 3 years and I love it. I've also lived in Florida for 9 years when I was a child and it is definitely not part of the south.

As for Memorial Day I will be working. But this weekend I will be going to the City/County Fair tomorrow, going to a BBQ on Sunday, and there will be some work in the morning both days.

Hardwell? Where are you seeing him?

    Dixon at Output.

Well in Hudson right now with the I laws but I don't think we will go up to Cleveland anymore because of the potential riots.

Have any of you golfers been to Treetops? One of the toughest courses I've ever played

Soooo...South Dakota is amazing. I knew we would have a good time, but it was seriously one of the best weekends ever. I highly recommend taking a lil' trip there if you have never been.

The adage in Florida is the further south you go the further north you get! LMAO at any Ohioan dissing Florida as the worst state ever.

Florida is actually a great state to live in if you live on the coastal areas. I've lived inland in Lakeland and it's as redneck hillbilly as any southern state. It's the coastal areas that have most of the transplants and snowbirds.

Which course? I have played them all.

I thought the course where you have to drive 5-10 minutes through the trees to get to the first tee was rather boring and ordinary. The others were really fun.

The Masterpiece is a great course.

Crystal is the hardest course I've ever played. It's incredible.

I played Premier on Saturday and then Tradition which you mentioned and finished with the Masterpiece. Shot an 82 on both Premier and Tradition and then blew it up with an 86 on the Masterpiece. The margin for error on the Masterpiece is zero, you miss a green and scrambling for a par is nearly impossible. Did like the par 3 with an 80 yard drop and the 4 with it as well

That's not too bad at all. You can easily shoot 10+ shots worse on the Masterpiece so only 4 worse isn't bad.

Threetops is a lot of fun. Make sure you hit it if you make your way back there.
