Spinoff: Top Cities in Ohio

    Columbus for me.

Living in Columbus right now and it's definitely the only place I'd live in Ohio. It feels really spread out so it doesn't feel like a city to me.

Cincinnati for me. I don't want to live in the city (any city) anymore but I have enjoyed my 8 years in Cincinnati. I'm a Reds fan and indifferent to OSU so it's definitely the best sports town for me. The restaurant, bar, and local brewery scene is top notch. There are a ton of tech jobs in the area which is great for my career field.

Traffic sucks but my daily work commute is less than 10 minutes so it rarely affects me. I rarely travel so our shitty airport doesn't bother me too much. We are actually flying out of Columbus in May because the flight was so much cheaper. It also gives us a chance to visit my mom so the additional drive time is easily negated.

I love the 513. Restaurants are fantastic and there are a lot of nice areas to go to around the city. The Reds stadium is awesome and downtown has gotten pretty cool. There's traffic at rush hour but doesn't every city have that? I haven't lived in Columbus or Cleveland as an adult so can't compare it to either of those but I love it here.

You could argue for Columbus now...but in 1 1/2 years, before the 'Pubs come to town... the best city in O-H-I-O will be Cleveland. And it won't be close.

Give me Cleveland. My main entertainment is sports related, and Cleveland is the best for that.

    Cleveland > Columbus > Toledo > Cincinnati

No way is Toledo ever over Cincinnati.

I think the fact that as down as Cleveland has been for however long and as "low" as it is now (definitely trending up- new hotels, RNC convention (over Columbus mind you), plans for skyscrapers to be built, new interstates, highest downtown living population ever, etc) , and it is still in the discussion for best city in Ohio says a lot.

I think you could say that all 3 cities are fast rising. Oddly downtown Columbus finally built itself up enough to have big events like a political convention, and the airport was a big factor in them not getting the RNC.

    So, not Columbus

Anyone who doesn't think Columbus has great restaurants hasn't experienced what's out there. Columbus has actually become one of the biggest foodie cities. There's to much to even list. I'll just link a couple articles talking about the boom the foodie scene has had in Columbus. Cleveland is great as well but Columbus is right up there with them and light years ahead of Cincinnanti.

Oddly enough my favorite breweries in the state are outside of the big three. I'll take Yellow Springs and Jackies Os over pretty much anything else in the state. Madtree is pretty damn good too though.

I would, the traffic flow in Cincinnati is way too much for me.

Huge Cleveland homer and have been lucky enough to have been a part in the mini-renaissance but when I go to Cbus and Cinci they both seem to be shooting past us in my humble opinion. Even with Cleveland's improvements we could still be so much more. Our city government is incompetent.

That's because it is led by your boy Mayor Jackson. Dude is an idiot.

The entire NEO is a hell hole...Cbus & Cincy take the prize in all categories except for "Shittiest Football Program" ...that is one place Cleveburgh stands alone!

I just can't fathom any other city in the state being "light years" ahead on Cincinnati when it comes to the food scene. I'm not trying to say Cincinnati is the best but it can certainly hang with the other two.

Cincy is a bit odd as some areas around the city there is nothing around to eat.....many many places overall but it's odd to me to get off an exit ramp around a large city and there be nothing.

I saw an article while linking the rest and I'm to lazy to search for it again but it was the top 40 foodie cities that would surprise you. Columbus was 22 Cleveland was 19. Cincinnati did not make the top 40.
