You can say the same thing for an Impreza.

I'm a fan. Even though it's a bit Mitsu-like, that front end is hot.

I'm assuming it tickets in the high 30s.

For the price tag that probably comes with it, i'm not impressed. If you have 35-40k to spend on a car are you going to get a focus? Doubt it.

If you're into them, absolutely. It's geared towards the enthusiasts.

Honda is bringing the Type R to the US. I'm sure the price tag will be ridiculous, but the Honda nerds will eat it up.

For that kind of money i'd rather get a used M series than that. Just my opinion though.

Rather them bring back the S2000. Their brand had gone full soccer mom vanilla.

Maintenance costs on BMW would steer me away from purchasing one.

I saw it was a Focus from Europe and I got excited it was the Focus diesel...bah, if I want a sports car I'd buy an actual sports car.

I want the Focus diesel as my next car (in about 100,000 miles or 3-4 years). Get it done Ford.

^I agree. Just to add: If you've ever watched how Honda builds their unibody chassis, you'd reconsider purchasing one.
You see more and more car accidents nowadays where the car was ripped into two pieces. It's because of the unibody cars and their manufacturers coming up with ways to have more bends and less welds. Most unibody cars nowadays are death traps.

I've driven an S2000 before, i accepted that if there was an accident i was probably going to be fucked up ha.

I like what Ford is doing with the new aluminum bodies now.
