I'm sure she loves being married to you.

That's pretty much what I thought. I dated a girl who loved that movie and wouldn't shut up about it, so I rented it to see what all the fuss was about. I thought it wasn't very good.

    Probably am.

I knew it'd illicit a response of some sort. It was fun while it lasted.

As she should be. Or...we wouldn't have gotten married and started a family.

That requires literally 5-seconds in the theatre for a photo and then you're free to watch another movie. You may have me technically, but I'd still argue that saves you $20 (which, by the way, is joking/trolling that went over some people's head...oh hell I'll spell it out - you welch on a bet and save yourself $20 )

Don't kid yourselves...S&L has been looking forward to this like a kid at Christmas.

OK Mods you can ban me from the thread now.

It was a hint to be tied up and spanked.

I'm taking my gf to it because I offered to take her to the movies for Valentine's Day. This was the movie she picked, so we're going. I just like watching movies, so I really don't care.

I'm surprised Tiernan didn't post something like this yet:

Jesus YTG I'm thoroughly offended by your inference...I'm totally a Gay Rights kinda guy. I have zero problems with adults having sex with whoever they wanna have it with (except children) if somebody wants to only hump zebras and they have a zebra that will do it...have at it stripes boy. And I really want all these Gay Marriage advocates to get exactly what they want. Gays should be as miserable as the rest of us.

I'd probably go see this version of 50 Shades if it were coming out.

Okay...I need reviews from the dudes who saw it. I don't personally know any males who have gone.

My wife and her two friends went saturday night while the guys sat at the bar, when we met back up with them they all said it wasn't very good. One of the girls actually fell asleep!!! All of them had read the books and thought they were much better.

I felt the exact opposite. The books are so horribly written that anything had to be an improvement. My friends and I had a great time and really enjoyed the movie. We also had beverages beforehand and took some boxes of wine in...so maybe that helped.

Got calls from women I never get calls from wanting to hook up. Will never see the movie but so far I'm a fan.

My wife text me after she got out of the movie. I don't think she was a fan.

She has not read the books.

We all went out to eat and the girls were doing shots and all sorts of shit before the movie, still thought it was dumb.

Lady I work with went and said it wasnt that good.

It is an R rated movie......from what people say the books are about I dont think R rated would do a good job.

Yeah, I don't get that. It followed the book pretty closely, and actually left out a lot of the dumb dialogue. That's what made it better, IMO. I didn't have to hear about inner goddesses doing the tango (for real) or any of that stupid shit. The screenwriter did a great job at leaving a lot of the lame stuff out.

I went in with super low expectations, so it was better than I thought it would be.

Had I never read the books, I am not sure how I would have felt. All I know is I was not mad about looking at Jamie Dornan for two hours.

Is this the SIL that likes the darkest shades of grey?
