    Gun range owner bans Muslims

i can understand her thinking ....

would not want a child molester visiting your candy store or play grounds

Go figure someone from Arkansas wants to lump a group of people.
  • Tiernan
So the two Muslims that live in Arkansas can't go to the gun range? Now if range operators in Detroit say No Moozies Allowed - then we got a story.
  • 4cards
...I'd let them in and then hang them up instead of bad guy shlhouettes for the rest of the home town necks to shoot at!

At many Gun Ranges you have to fill out a form (information/permission) this form is for the owner’s protection and the safety of the customers. Within many of those forms is the (felon clause) if that individual is a felon then the owner can refuse and must refuse the individual from being on the property. If the felon fails to properly fill out the form and is caught … big problem
Note: it is difficult for a Gun Range operator to do a quick background check.. IMO this should be made easier and quicker for the protection of everyone.
Driver license is also a requirement at some Gun Range no drivers license no shooting, with the exception of a parents guidance.
Within this form is also inform required about mental health issue also. The owner can refuse this individual from the Range.
A Range is a place where weapon are at hand and live ammo is loaded, a terrorist individual, crazy nut case given permission to enter that Range area or property is not a good situation. All precaution should be taken for the safety of the owner and the safety of others that visit the Range.

If more precaution was taken by the owners of the training pilots business would 9/11 happen?

The government can ban individual from areas and pull people out of airport line via suspicion for the safety and precaution of potential danger.

Does profiling have it place? or Good common sense rule?

Really 9/11 would have happened no matter what. They would have gone to another country to practice flying. Stereotyping all muslims being terrorists is pretty pathetic.
  • Uz2Bon36
Has a Muslim ever declared jihad on a gun range?

I think its just a business owner using the media for more attention.

I agree about 9/11 but really, it was so easy with no precaution prevision.
Is it just as pathetic to condone a business owner who concern for her customers and those who side on side precaution?
Are all Muslim terrorist NO... but tell me which one are and are not

So then you can say the same for Mexicans. Are they all illegal? Show me which ones aren't.

Or all the crazy white KKK people and school shooters. Most school shooters are white males. So maybe white males shouldn't be allowed at a gun range.

Or for you which Vietnamese are good and which ones are bad. Most are good people especially the ones here.

There is nothing of concern. Stop acting like attacks are happening daily. Jeez Belly I figured you better than this stereotyping.

Tell that to a French Newspaper and 140 school children

The risk of denouncing Muslin has paid off ... would this be considered a trend of populous America dogma.

The flight training school operator in Venice FL who trained 5 of the hi-jackers is still in business which I find repulsive.

If the proper protocol is taken and those listed above have a valid driver license, legal citizenship, no Green Card, no case of mental illness and no felony record. Welcome to the Range
I did say that I agreed with her, I just indicated I can see her point of pre-caution.

Locally here and also in Youngstown larger Churches have been notified of suspicious visits to their congregation… Should there be alarm and pre-caution?

When does the idea that America is untouchable taken into consideration?

Let's take all the Japs and put them in camps while we're at it, Belly. Can't tell which ones are kamikazes.

If I owned a gun range I think I should be able to limit it to whomever I want for whatever reason I want. Props to them for getting free advertising though.

The gun range owner. Two Muslims come in and you ban all of them? Right, because all Muslims are extremists. Just like all catholic males are pedophiles, or all Christians are those batshit crazy Westboro Baptist people?

    Been there done that... history

.... I see her Gun Range Owner pre-caution and understand it as an owner of a business... doesn't mean I agree totally ... NO

Those of you who never owned a business or understand the legalities of liabilities you are clueless to the plight of small business owners and the potential for total finical destruction and legal ramifications. She already in a high risk liability business the fact that she could take just one potential risk off the plate is a good thing. That why those information questionnaire are there to help protect the owners investment and other customers.
Again let me clarify do I support her total action NO … but I understand her precaution. Did she do this as a risky way to increase business … pretty dam bold

I think we are all living in a time where “avoidance” is the protocol of today society. We avoid the real issue, turn our backs on hard solution, justify our failures, blame, find faults with truth, logic and support the easies to avoid the ridicule because the answers are difficult to admit… an we as a society have no answers for the problems created by lack of standards, ethic, morals and values.

I don't think a place of public accomodation is Constitutionally allowed to discriminate on the basis of religion.

    You would be correct

Not all Muslim are Islam some are Christian ... so on the Range question form should there be a question asking are you of a Christian Muslim or Islam Muslim?

Now the America people has to agree or not ... is Islam a religion?

Lol. Christian Muslim is not a real thing. A Muslim is someone who follows the religion of Islam.

What if the legal US citizen has a valid license, no mental illness' or felonies but wears a turban?

The dingbat gun range owner says she does not allow KKK members to shoot there. With her stereotyping I wonder if she's ever refused service to someone who has a rebel flag bumper sticker.

Yes. I thought that was common knowledge. At least among people not looking for any reason humanly possible to discriminate against someone.
