thavoiceAnyone watch?
Wasnt aware it was a two hour show and was gonna watch the replay which I thought would be 10-11.
WIll catch a rerun this week. -
sportchamppsI watched and loved it. You guys do know it's a three part mini series airing Sunday Monday Tuesday. I will for sure be tuning in again tonight. I enjoyed it more then most of the History channels specials latly.
-
Belly35I watched it and was very pleased, well done
-
ZunardoMy wife and I have enjoyed watching so far. My only complaint is that the actor playing Sam Adams looks awful young to be portraying a guy was 50 at the time it was happening, and who probably looked older than that.

Yeah, just found that out. Figured it would be 3 sundays in a row!sportchampps;1700104 wrote:I watched and loved it. You guys do know it's a three part mini series airing Sunday Monday Tuesday. cat_loverVery well done series.
-
sportchamppsProbably my favorite History Channel mini series
-
SonofanumpI'm sure they drank beer, but when Jim Koch pays for a lot of the programming, it appeared a bit overboard. Overwise, I enjoyed learning about the lesser known persons.
-
Laley23It actually is said by historians that the founding fathers were HUGE alcoholics. Getting drunk multiple times a week and almost always having a few at night.
-
TiernanWatched all 3 eps last night...eh.
-
Belly35
So there were only three eps so far.... great then I have all 3 now recorded. Is that the end of the series?Tiernan;1701602 wrote:Watched all 3 eps last night...eh. -

i think so.Belly35;1701630 wrote: Is that the end of the series? -
sportchamppsYea only 3
-
GoPensIt was pretty good, but I thought the mini series John Adams covered the time period better
-
Laley23Anyone know when they will be replayed? I looked online briefly but didn't see anything. I have 2 and 3 recorded, but need the 1st still.

This is how I felt. The good part was that John Adams barely touched on Sam Adams and completely ignored Paul Revere. So they covered some different things, but overall John Adams blew this show out of the water.GoPens;1701709 wrote:It was pretty good, but I thought the mini series John Adams covered the time period better
Also, someone in the show said "a bridge too far" which was of course a phrase coined after Operation Market Garden during WWII. Sometimes it sucks being a smart person that knows things. -
Laley23Also said boycott...when Mr. Boycott had yet to "boycott" anything lol.
