Arlington Walmart....towed all Ohio cars

  • Ironman92
My wife's boss and his family just returned for the championship game. (Daughter in TBDBITL)....anyways they couldn't find anywhere to park as you needed a parking pass to park at stadium ($80) and they wouldn't take cash. They stopped at the Walmart about 1 1/2 miles from the stadium to pick up a few things. As they are leaving thy notice that deep in the back of the parking lot was filled with Oregon and Ohio licensed cars.....so they figured they'd join in. (This was around 4 hours prior to game)...they had to go back to the car for something about 90 min later and as they return....all the Ohio cars were gone and lot was all Oregon cars now. They had to go in and ask where they had them towed.

.....had to get a cab to go to the impound lot and had to pay $250 to get the car released and the tow truck guy doing it all was wearing a TCU hoody.

He said that the Texas folks weren't very nice throughout the weekend.

Thought the tow story was funny.

Texas has always been jealous of Ohio football from their overrated HS programs to their pathetic underachieving college teams. They do have better pro teams but who really gives a fuck?

If Oregon fans had pay for it all, that would have been a great troll job.

TCU fans were so mad that entire weekend. Losers

That being said it was probably dumb for these people not to pay for parking. I mean a mile and a half out? You could find $10 parking less then a mile from the stadium.

He's not someone that frequents big athletic events and she's not too sharp....he didn't want to park there and he made her pay the $250

He had zero interest in going.

    Surprised parking for $10 though

I don't buy the part of the story that only the Ohio cars were towed. Sounds like BS.

Believe what you want....the guy is boring as shit and wouldn't lie. He told my wife this story within hours of getting back.....she told me, I thought it was pretty interesting (especially coming from him)....so I shared.

Okay, well maybe he thinks this is what happened. Hell, many of us become convinced we've seen something real that wasn't actually there. Conspiracy theories are like that.

Ok....it is hard to determine Oregon plates from Ohio....and TCU shirts are difficult to recognize.

Are you sure you were even in TX S&L? You've been known to lie on here before. I truly doubt you went to the game at all.

Maybe from the eruption of the crowd noise as THE Ohio State was dominating throughout

Well, that's more proof than Tiernan's given that he was actually in New Orleans for the semifinal.
