Yeah, same here. We had multiple storms of 4+ inches last year and a few that were around 8 in west central ohio. It was a long, cold, snowing winter last year in ou rparts

Bullshit. I lived in Phoenix for a year and the summer months are horrible. I'd rather deal with single digit cold Ohio than 100+ temps (before 9AM) like Phoenix has for most of the year.

    Gotcha.

I was in Toledo last winter till end of February. The snow was non-stop and just awful.

I like Belly's post - seasons are good for the soul. I know I would take the summer for granted if that's all I ever got. I have been to Florida and Arizona in the summer and both are as miserable as this in a different way. Now Southern California has just about perfect weather. The problem there is the people....

You can live in Ohio, understand what winter is like, and still think it sucks that it's this freaking cold.

Friggin was near white-out conditions this AM. A heck of a snow shower came through. A good Wind and blowing snow we already had you could only see a few feet in front of your car.

I'm not much a fan of it myself. But if I didnt like it as much as some people who complain then I think I'd move instead of complaining about it every year.

yeah it was 70 today here, and yet I still saw people in parkas.

I'm more than ok with this weather. Was able to get the boards setup on my buddy's pond and the ice is now about 7" thick which is more than enough for hockey games

Sounds like Dayton was spared. Milder air pushed more north than expected and kept a lot of the area with rain for the most part. Further north in your area may be different though.

Back roads North of Dayton are eff'ed.

Up in NC Ohio, we got off easier (so far, at least) than expected. Was supposed to be a winter advisory until 4, but shortened to noon and things are more slushy than slippery. Back roads are worse, but that's no surprise. It was a lot worse driving on Friday morning than today.

Same story in Akron. We got a couple inches, but the roads were far better than they were last week. It was just wet and slushy.
