Anyone been? What to expect? Looks fun. I'll be going Sunday night at nationwide.

Never been but I would bet it's great

I haven't been, but I know people who have that have said they're markedly worse than 10 or so years ago when they were best known. Apparently a lot of turnover and the replacements aren't up to snuff.

That being said, I'm sure they're still pretty damn good

Symphony rock is for white trash and uneducated people.

I've gone twice, and it was fantastic both times.

Let me know how the "new" format is. First year not seeing them.

Gave me a headache .... Flashing strob lights, loud music ... Not a good combo for me...

Went last year for the first time...great show! What did you think?

I've heard nothing but awful reviews for this year. Nothing like years past. They have been getting killed for it.

Thats too bad. Guess the $$$ factor is killing the show. Best shows of theres were when they were still playing EJ Thomas and the likes. Then they go to arenas, split into two bands(east and west)...play after Christmas...now they take out the best part of the show(the first half) which made them as popular as they are.

It was pretty darn good. They did the story part then they did some free styling. I would say there was 10k in nationwide. The violinist was the most impressive he rocked it. I would see them again but being my first time I can't compare to any other years past.

They had one stage no split. The members did go in the crowd several times and interacted.

What is capacity for a concert? Went there twice for it and it was sold out/packed in past years.

I have been going for 10 years or so to Cleveland. Always amazing. Haven't gone the last couple years because of the timing. They have done different stories for the 1st half the last few times I know.

The only change to the first half has been an additional song or two at the beginning or end. The story remains the same. This year they said they were ditching it. They always try to make Cleveland last because it was WNCX or one of those rock stations in Cleveland that got them started on tours, but it sucks when its after Christmas.

As in most concerts........turn down the volume. It would be so much more enjoyable.

They had done the "Christmas eve and other stories" album story for years and years and years. Recently, I can't remember if it was last year or the year before, they did "the lost Christmas eve" album story instead. Then this year was the first time they ever did "a Christmas attic" album story. There are always one or two intro songs that vary before the narrator starts into the story.
