Chrome help

gutDoes chrome just suck now, or am I missing some plug-ins or add-ons? Many sites, probably flash, it just seems to not work - CNNSI, Home Depot, etc..
I generally like it better than Firefox, but it's getting annoying to have to launch firefox, anyway, to see a video or read an article that won't load on chrome. -
AutomatikUpdate Flash.
I was having issues yesterday with viewing sites. This helped. -

Is that just the adobe update or what am I missing?Automatik;1687081 wrote:Update Flash.

This issue has been going on for well over a year, I've finally just gotten beyond annoyed with it to post. Seems like flash is a constant issue with Chrome and I'm getting to the point of just retiring it. -
gutI'm wondering if it's not pop-up settings or something. Sites actually load for me, but when I click on links nothing happens, like it's just a dead link. And sometimes a video won't load, or you hit play and nothing happens (embedded videos on sites).

It was pissing me off so I tried to open the same site in Safari and was prompted to update. It fixed both browsers. -

Actually, Home Depot and CNNSI seem to be working. So maybe the latest updates have helped. Couple of sites gave me issues yesterday, I thought after I had updated flash. Could have been specific to those sites, though.Automatik;1687085 wrote:Yes.

Maybe it's been an issue with Ad Block Plus on Chrome. Or maybe my security settings on Chrome have been too aggressive. -
TedShecklerEasy fix...

GOONx19I actually noticed a problem for the first time last night. I use the web version of Outlook for my school email and couldn't attach files to outgoing mail in Chrome. Worked fine in Safari and FF.
