Give the underground scene a try. Much more genuine, and the crowds are by far better.

I've been to about 15-20. Incubus was the best live. RHCP is my favorite band I've seen.

First was Bush, Goo Goo Dolls, and No Doubt at Savage Hall in Toledo. I think I was in 5th grade, and No Doubt was basically unknown at the time.

    Many more since then.

Third Day would be one of the biggest, I'd say for many years. There's a wide variety and even "genre" within Christian music. Lecrae is the biggest name in Christian rap music, a lot of people really respect what he does with rap. I've seen him, but am not too keen on rap.

I was at that concert. My freshman year of college at UT. Would have been late '94 or early '95.

Awesome. Looking back it's probably when the lead singers of Bush and No Doubt met. They are still married today I think.

Didn't realize it was a best concerts in life list. I've been to so many especially when you consider Bonnaroo for three years. My favorites though:

    Paul McCartney at Bonnaroo
    Tom Petty at Bonnaroo
    Red Hot Chili Peppers
    The Killers
Mumford and Sons at Bonnaroo and in Columbus both were great shows
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros at Bonnaroo show and secret show at bonnaroo
    Alabama Shakes
    Afroman on 4/20 at OU
    The Avett Brothers

i know I'm forgetting some other great shows but those are ones off the top of my head.

Lol...I've only heard of 5 of those and the last time we had one of these threads I just made up about 3 groups and no one questioned it.

I'm more off on the music around here than anything.

Techno and EDM are not interchangeable terms.

I've been to Jamboree in the Hills 10 times or so, never Country Concert though. It was some great times, and I'm not even a fan of country music. It used to be somewhat cheap, now getting expensive.

VASTLY different. I agree though, the masses just lump everything together. It's much easier that way.
