Visiting the grave

How often do you visit the grave site of your loved ones?
My mom and grandparents are at the same cemitary and my wife parents and brother are brutal cemitary is just a mile away. We both visit on Veterans Day, Memorial Day and sometime just a random visit, it about four times a year.

You shouldn't drink this early in the morning.

It's been a while since I've visited my grandfathers grave, but I do think about him every day.

My Grandad got our family started down a path we all have sworn to keep going...he asked to be cremated and have his ashes released in the waters of his favorite fishing bay in SW FL. My Dad and my Uncle are now there with him too. It's a great spot with a magnificent sunset. I still fish there whenever I get the chance and can feel all three of them there with me whenever the catch is on. I like it much better than going to look at some head stone in a cemetary...but to each his own.

I do plan on being cremated.

    No worries, I hate Florida.

Try to visit my father and grandparents grave at least once a month.

My father died a few months ago. I'll probably never visit his grave. My mother is still alive but, when she passes, I will visit hers from time to time.

My mom passed 4 years ago. Other than the service, I've only been there once.

M dad passed away about 4 years ago. I've only visited the grave twice maybe. I think about him a lot but I'm not the type to visit a grave.

    Never. Not important to me.

I stop at my gma's grave at least once a year to clean it up with my mom. Just started this 2 years ago, wish we would have done it earlier. She passed away when I was 17(I'm 30 now). Wasn't really close with her because she lived in a nursing home from before I was born until she died. Nursing homes creep me out so I didn't like to visit a lot. Really regret that.

My family members are buried in my hometown, which I only visit a handful of times each year. I try to go to their sites at least once/year if I can.

Most of my Mom's relatives are buried in Kentucky, and I have never visited them.

My Mom and stepdad plan to be cremated, so we'll see where they end up.

Some of the best fishing in the world dude but I get it...summer humidity and over-crowding sometimes makes FL tough to handle. Lotta good places for releasing ashes though.

    Rarely. Maybe 1x a year.

I've never gone to visit a dead relative. Maybe I should sometime.

I visit my mom, both grandparents and my wife parents on Veteran Day and Memorial Day to make sure they get flags put on their grave, we take flowers and clean up around the head stones.
