Belly35Once again 0 nobody came trick or treating to our home... well the grandkids did..
How many (estimated) kids did you get or how much candy did you pass out? -
TiernanUh...its not til this weekend Belly, that could have something to do with the low turnout.

vdubb96Ours was this past weekend on saturday. It was insane the number of kids that were out. Great weather obviously helped. We went through a shit ton of candy.
-
Tiernan...in other news, alot of kids didn't get any Christmas presents this past week either.
-
saltoZero but when you don't answer the door and leave all the lights off it helps.
-
Old RiderWe typically get a good number of kids in our neighborhood getting their trick-or-treat dinner...I mean candy. Usually a bunch of white trash getting their free handouts! The thing that gets me is when mom/dad have a candy bucket for a toddler/baby in a stroller who can't even walk. The kid cant even eat the candy, but Mom/Dad can!

Lights on, candy on the porch or we are outside in the yard... 180 foot frontage for most of the homes in the area, 100 plus feet to the front door could be a factor...salto;1667545 wrote:Zero but when you don't answer the door and leave all the lights off it helps.
Even the kids in the area go else where ..... bigger pay out in close lot sizes... -

...back in my day that house got a full dose of window soaping.salto;1667545 wrote:Zero but when you don't answer the door and leave all the lights off it helps. -

2x this!!! The amount of trash walking up and down the sidewalks with infants/toddlers, who can't or shouldn't be eating candy was amusing. I told my wife that this is their food supply for the next month.ernest_t_bass;1667548 wrote:This. White trash parents are the worst. -

Well there ya go...its Trick or Treat, not a Boy Scout Hike.Belly35;1667553 wrote: 100 plus feet to the front door could be a factor...

BR1986FBSeems like Trick or Treat varies from place to place. A lot of places around us had theirs this past weekend. Ours is Thursday night. This year should be better since we'll have someone at the house passing out candy. Last year, nobody could be home so we left a bowl out and asked for an "honor system." So much for that. I got home 5 minutes after Trick or Treat started and the rat bastards had already emptied the bowl.
-
GoChiefsA lot. Little bastards kept ringing the doorbell while I was trying to sleep. Lights not on little Jimmy, move along!

Those little "rat bastards" are more than likely (sadly) adults.BR1986FB;1667563 wrote:Seems like Trick or Treat varies from place to place. A lot of places around us had theirs this past weekend. I was thinking teenagers more than the little ones did it.ernest_t_bass;1667567 wrote:Those little "rat bastards" are more than likely (sadly) adults. -

thavoice2 bags of candy....probably about 35 or so kids. Heard one house down the road was giving a free beer to any parent who showed up in costume with theirkid.
When Ilived inthe country....hardly got anyhone, but I now live in town with alot of kids in the fewblocks. -
HereticTown I live near had theirs Saturday. It was fun driving through town with about 500 kids/adults running around into the streets without paying attention to things like cars and shit.
-
brutus161Trick or Treat night, the one night when 25% of local kids are "home sick". Good thing there are thoughtful parents that will go trick or treating for thrm.

I always get this as well. The lights are off, all you've done is pissed off my dogs.GoChiefs;1667566 wrote:A lot. Little bastards kept ringing the doorbell while I was trying to sleep. Lights not on little Jimmy, move along! -
Fab4RunnerOurs was Saturday. I had no idea what to expect since it was my first time ever passing out candy. I would say we got about 50-60 kids. I went through almost one large bag of candy (about 150 pieces).

We were never allowed as little kids to go to a house that didn't have at minimum a porch light on. I guess my parents respected the neighbors. When parents didn't take us, we just knew not to do it.justincredible;1667662 wrote:I always get this as well. The lights are off, all you've done is pissed off my dogs.
Kids these days, they have no respect(I can say this now that I'm 30).
