Oven/Range or Electric Problem

  Anyone know what this problem could be. It started last week when we were using the stovetop and preheating the oven. When the oven got to about 300 it would trip the circuit breaker. We then stopped using the oven and cooking on the stovetop was fine. Then this weekend while making matzo ball soup that kicked off the circuit breaker. Whirlpool is coming tommorow but does this sound like a range problem or electrical problem. We just bought the house in Feb. So luckily everything is under warranty.

  Well Whirlpool came out said its either loose wiring or a weak breaker

  Unless you have aluminum wire, I doubt your wiring just got loose all of a sudden.
  
  Buy a cheap ammeter and put it on the circuit to "max" setting and see what it tripped out at.

  If the person that originally installed the range or the range circuit didn't tighten things up properly it could have worked loose. I have fixed many outlets that people replaced themselves and did not tighten enough and it caused arcing on the screw. Not sure if this is the case but sometimes faulty workmanship can be the problem.

  Had an electronican out he said the breaker went bad and replaced it
