Had planned to put a deck on the back of the house but that will have to wait. Currently putting a sidewalk in front of the house.

I'm hoping that next summer we'll be living on a farm house (we've bid on one), and there will be PLENTY of work to do on the property.

Any pictures of the farm house?

    Why, creep?

Actually, no, none yet. I'll PM you the listing. It sits on 3 acres. Probably 2 acres are buildings and pastures. Buying it for the horse set up. It's about 1800 sq. ft. house, detached garage, huge empty barn to use as an indoor arena, a corn crib building with a lean-to, chicken coop, and a horse barn with 5 real nice stables. The pictures don't really do the house justice.

So we've been getting our house ready to "show," since it's on the market. Still about a solid full day's work to put into it. Get a call from the realtor at 9:00 p.m. yesterday... "Hey, we got a showing on Wednesday!!!1!!" FML. While it's good to have a showing, nothing like staying up til 12:30 working on shit.

We just moved in this year.

    - Landscaped the front yard adding flower beds and a couple bushes.
    - painted and sealed the mailbox
    - cut down 3 large trees in the backyard
    - cleared out the woods in our back yard to our property line (about 500 sq feet) It was horrible
    - sprayed the area about 3-4 to prevent weeds from growing in

    Next Year -

Since the ground will have settled by then we will
    - fence in the backyard
    - build a patio and fire pit
    - put down grass seed in the area I cleared this summer
    - remove the stumps (I'll hire someone for this who said he will remove the 3 for only $100)
