Are the baseball playoffs(MLB going to be boring this year

  • Little Smoke
The season is winding down and right now with the picture that is set, it is looking like one of the worst playoffs ive ever seen. I do not want to see the royals and the oriels. I dont want to see the brewers playing The Blue jays. What ever happened to the days of when the Yankees and the red sox were playing eachother for the right to play the angles and Texas. I am hoping that we can strengthen these teams in the free agents because baseball needs these teams to be good and they are so far from where they are. I wont watch a second of the games this year exept the Dodgers because they are an exciting club

Well I guarantee you wont be seeing the Blue Jays against the Brewers if that helps.

    Fuck the Yankees and Redsox.

    Justin, is that you???

If the Blue Jays and Brewers play im am not watching it. I dont care about there pitching because they dont have any personality on that team.I remember when the ALCS was the yankees and the red sox and that was what baseball was all about. NOT teams with boring players. The Dogers have some star power and they have a great player in the outfield. IF they can make the playoffs and win it all i am love that team because the teams otherwise arent fun to watch. Can you imagine the yankees against the dodgers in this years game. I know the suits with tbs and fox would love those numbers!!!

Brewers have a lot of exciting players and are a good watch for baseball fans.

Pirates/Royals are good for baseball but neither would likely advance. K.C. Is a nice club.

    Oakland and Angels are legit.

Blue Jays? Lol, they are tied with those Yankees you prefer.

    Long way to go....

Playoffs? You either like baseball enough to watch or you don't. Playoff teams obviously have the talent to win 90 or so games.

The Spurs weren't too exciting to non-NBA fans.

I disagree with that. I love watching the MLB playoffs, but the regular season has become boring as all hell to me. I rarely even watch a full Indians game anymore, although the front office has had a lot to do with that.

I hope the Montreal Expos and Louisville Greys play each other.

Heck yeah, I hear Chick Fulmer is having a great year. Leads the team in RBIs.

I was talking about playoff games. Those are the best of the teams and going head to head.

So now you agree with me lol

    The oriels and dogers?

He must be talking about the minor leagues.

Its not that i dont like those teams, its just that they havent earned the spot like teams such as the yankees and red sox have. Even the Giants are those teams and you never know if they can win it all. Id love to see the royals fail late in the season and collapse because they lose a lot of games late and dont make the playoffs so a team like the tigers can get in. If i had it my way i would make the yankees and the dodgers every year and the fans would like it to with all of there history.

As much as I love baseball I dont watch as much postseason baseball as I thought I would. The games last so much longer and by that time of the year I am ready for something else. I listen to pretty much parts of every reds game but come the postseason i am usually in football mode. The last two times, not including that one game debacle last year, they have made the postseason I was unable to watch or listen to any of it so for me it has been a long, long, long time since I have seen the reds play in the postseason.

Football trumps playoff baseball for me, too, but I watch pretty much every game during the week. Little things actually start to matter. Every game is huge, and at a certain point in a series every at bat becomes huge.

In the regular season you can lose 45% of your games and still have a great shot of making the playoffs. There's no sense of urgency. Just doesn't hold my interest for 3+ hours a night for 6 months straight anymore, especially when the steroids are gone and the offenses are terrible.
