What's the word for...

  • GOONx19
I don't have anyone I can ask right now and can't think of the word I'm looking for in order to submit a research application right now.

What's the word for when someone uses all of the materials they have without wasting any? Specifically, the word for using all of the drug in a metered-dose inhaler before disposing of it. All I can think of are "economical" and "efficient" and they aren't what I'm looking for.

I can't believe I'm asking for literary help on the OC.

    Thanks morans.

    Exhausted?

    depleted? maximized?

For research purposes, wouldn't you be more specific and say something like "98% utilization". Not wasting doesn't actually say anything about the amount consumed.

Exhausted seems to fit well. Saying it out loud can help.

I think exhausted is a good fit for the question, but to suggest something more grammatically along the lines of "economical" and "efficient", I'll throw in optimal.

expended, spent. if you can use the word "fully" in front of it it would conveythe meaning better.....Fully expended.

Don't worry about it. MDIs suck anyways. DPIs are where it's at.
