  I don't know anything about this case, but i was in Minneapolis yesterday and man do the local drive time radio guys hate Ventura. It was a sports show and they spent 30 minutes ripping him and the vagrants who voted him governor.

  The guy printed falsehoods about him. Ventura sued him but he died so the money Ventura was owed for defamation was then in his wife's name. Only person to blame is the dead dude for printing lies to sell books.

  Just after he entered politics, which I thought was more 20-25 years ago. 30 years ago, I was a little kid watching him announce old WWF shows. He was pretty cool back then. In an "adult male dressing with feathered boas sort of way", but still cool.

  In his book he talked about some famous guy he knocked out at a bar. This guy was talking shit and basically said "they deserved to lose some guys" meaning the SEALS deserved to have some guys killed.
  
  He didnt mention him in the book.
  
  but in another interview he said it was Ventura, or he admitted it was Ventura when someone asked if it was him.
  
  
  The odd thing is this....the lawyer of the widow/estate allowed it to not be a unanimous decision to make it a good ruling. Thought that was odd and he said 'it seemed right at the time' to agree to that.
