Ebola Epidemic...a real Last Ship scenario?

  • ptown_trojans_1
As long as the virus does not suddenly change the way it is carried, as in moves from fluid to airborne transmission, there should be not a sizeable risk to all of us.

The problem over in Africa are family members, due to customs, are washing the body after it has passed, this can allow the virus to spread due to fluid transmission. Also, people are not taking the proper precaution such as checking into clients, instead, staying with family. That can lead to other family members spreading the virus.

So, it is not like your typical airborne virus guys.
I'm not too worried about it as long as the proper precautions take place.
The probability of something going wrong is still pretty small.

Let's hope that this virus somehow doesn't find it's way to Mexico or any S.American country. Because if THAT ever happens...

Some Somalian crack queen will bring it to Cbus sooner or later. You do know there are more Somalians in Cbus than there are in Mogadishu right?

And you think they caught it in the United States? They were likely in Africa and just returned.

edit: I only see one "suspected" case and it appears to be a false report.

Of course "authorities" are claiming this is not Ebola...you think Obama wants to be blamed for this too? The govt. Failed to shut down travel to West Africa 3 mos. ago and now the genie is out of the lamp. It will take the eastern seaboard by Christmas.

The media needs to stop reporting every time someone is TESTED. They will have plenty of time to exploit it if there is a positive test.

They also need to stop acting like an inch of snow is two feet of sheer wintery death that no one should ever think of risking going out in, but since their goal is to keep people tuned into their station, they will exaggerate anything remotely threatening to at least rope in the dumbasses to keep listening.
