I'm watching the live stream on youtube right now and watched a few of the performance over the weekend on the stream as well. I wanted to see if anyone else watched and what they thought about it.
I'll start with Outkast because it was their first performance together in years. The set list they played was pretty close to my dream set list from them. They killed the first part of the set. The second part though Andre 3000 started to look tired and annoyed with some technical mistakes that were taking place. It really lost a lot of steam and they actually cut off MS Jackson because of technical problems. They also went long and didn't get to perform their whole set since Coachella has a curfew on what time the music must stop. Coachella shoulda paid the fine and let them finish like they did with Paul MCCartney. They will get better with a few live performances under their belt and hopefully they kill it at Firefly since I will be there.
Pharrell stole the weekend IMO. He played hit after hit for the hour he was on stage. In that hour he had Tyler the Creator, Nelly, Snoop, Diplo, Gwen Stefani perform with him as well as a few others I'm probably forgetting. For anyone age 25-30 it was just hit after hit.
Lorde - I only saw a few songs including a Royals and thought she sounded great and the show looked fun.
Fatboy Slim - I watched the replay of his set because it was the same time as Pharrell but I have to say he went hard and is now a must see act for me.
