The argument made by feminists and self-righteous females are that they should be allowed to wear whatever they want to without being treated like pieces of meat by men. Maybe they consider yoga pants comfortable which is why they opt to wear them, or they like to feel sexy but that doesn't give men the green light to turn their perv on. Again, they feel like they should be able to wear whatever they want to wear and feel comfortable/safe doing it.
Yeah, I've had this argument before and the issue I have with it is, from my experience, every woman has her limit and interpretations vary considerably. What one woman considers actions too forthcoming from a guy another might find flattering. It also seems that women who have a strong opinion on the matter have had an experience (experiences) that really punctuates the matter for them.
To me, I'm not trying to condone the creepiness factor but that's just the reality of it. Certain things are going to attract attention and some of that is going to be unwanted. If you don't want that, wear sweatpants. If you do wear something like yoga pants, be prepared. Yeah it's not fair but I don't think any crusade to change the minds of men is going to happen anytime soon. -

Midstate01My high school back home banned yoga pants. Said too many of them were see through.
Take me back! -

Manhattan BuckeyeA lot of yoga pants (particularly black ones) are see through once they are threadbare, it isn't as if us human beings are dogs that can see our own rear end. Probably many women don't even realize it. I agree with Mohican's sentiment. I don't mind seeing beautiful ladies in skimpy clothing, but it is very hypocritical for them to wonder why guys don't respect them, or otherwise treat them like sexual objects if they do so at an inappropriate location. There is a time and place for clothing of sorts, even for guys (obviously dudes in ballet clothing show a lot of stuff), it is strange that women think they can wear skin-tight "pants" and not be noticed by guys, most of the women wouldn't wear a bikini into McDonald's or Wal-Mart.

Mooseknuckles are an exception however. -

They can wear whatever they want, but if they are going to wear something that is going to catch the eye of men, especially in a sexual way (damn near naked), then they should understand that they'll more than likely be eyed. -

Laley23I dont know any girl who gets annoyed by men checking them out. I mean, some of them ACT like they are, but in reality they enjoy it. They arent stupid (insert joke here), they know what they are doing when they wear short skirts, low cut tops and yoga pants. They expect to be looked at and when it happens, they get an ego boost just like a guy does.
Differnece is, we love it but society tells the women to be disgusted by men drooling over them, so they act that way. -
Manhattan BuckeyeYeah, but it doesn't seem to be young girls doing it now, more like 30/40 something soccer moms. I don't think they would appreciate it if I walked into a grocery store with my running tights in front of their kids.

Women have much more attractive bulges then men.Manhattan Buckeye;1602616 wrote:Yeah, but it doesn't seem to be young girls doing it now, more like 30/40 something soccer moms. I don't think they would appreciate it if I walked into a grocery store with my running tights in front of their kids.
As for eye-fucking women in yoga pants...if it ain't illegal, I'm doing it. -

I agree, but I wouldn't want my kids in the presence of a woman with cameltoe, or see through butt crack. But it seems like every day there's a woman at the grocery store in one of those two conditions. As much as I enjoy seeing it, yoga pants are for the gym.gut;1602617 wrote:Women have much more attractive bulges then men.

appropriate attire is a separate topic - I think yoga pants can be worn casually outside of the gym (see pic) but everyone has a standardManhattan Buckeye;1602618 wrote:I agree, but I wouldn't want my kids in the presence of a woman with cameltoe, or see through butt crack. I remember when people used to wear sweatpants - I felt it was a bit too casual for the mall, but when people started wearing them to church I couldn't believe it.Manhattan Buckeye;1602618 wrote:As much as I enjoy seeing it, yoga pants are for the gym.
Still, sweatpants don't have to be nearly as revealing. I find it hard to believe women are wearing yoga pants outside the gym for any reason other than to look sexy and attract attention. -

I see that look ALOT and think it looks great. I know quite a few women who actually look better in them than they do regular jeans/pants. Just seems to be more forgiving for whatever reasonMohican00;1602620 wrote:appropriate attire is a separate topic - I think yoga pants can be worn casually outside of the gym (see pic) but everyone has a standard

Seems to be a fit and attractive lady, but I wouldn't my daughter to imitate that. I don't know where that is appropriate other than the gym.Mohican00;1602620 wrote:appropriate attire is a separate topic - I think yoga pants can be worn casually outside of the gym (see pic) but everyone has a standard

Girls wear them everywhere, school, sporting events, mall, etc.Manhattan Buckeye;1602624 wrote:Seems to be a fit and attractive lady, but I wouldn't my daughter to imitate that. I don't know where that is appropriate other than the gym. -

It's stylish enough. I don't have a problem with it if the top covers the ass. It's more or less a modernized version of daisy-dukes, and some girls took that too far, as well.Manhattan Buckeye;1602624 wrote:Seems to be a fit and attractive lady, but I wouldn't my daughter to imitate that. Yeah I know, particularly the grocery store - that is one of the public areas where the "authority" can't do much about it.. Probably not most halfway decent restaurants. They'll be told to change.thavoice;1602625 wrote:Girls wear them everywhere, school, sporting events, mall, etc. -

In major US cities? Probably not, at least if she's wearing them tastefully. High-end restaurants where jeans are really pushing it, yeah.Manhattan Buckeye;1602629 wrote:Probably not most halfway decent restaurants. They'll be told to change. -
Manhattan BuckeyeThe only way I can see it being tolerated if there is a dress over it. Even a small skirt. If there is ass or cooch showing, which it appears she is, likely a patron would complain.

thavoiceBack in my day girls wore them often as well but the style was always with the big shirt to cover their asses. Didnt call them yoga pants though and they were considered more "stylish" than sporty.
