I was watching the race tonight, and I have to admit I was surprised that he won at all, let alone that anyone beat Danica. Reddit's a damn powerful thing to have backing you up for an internet vote.
That, or everyone just didn't know what the hell to do since they couldn't vore for Jr. for once. -

Apparently some set up some kind of script and voted for him 80,000 times.ts1227;1617129 wrote:wow. much votes.

That's actually really detrimental to the whole digital currency thing.I Wear Pants;1611932 wrote:Doge> Bitcoin
Has to be scary as either an investor or proprietor that the market can swing to a new and emerging competitive currency almost overnight. That's a major reason I started this thread pissing on Bitcoin in the first place - confidence isn't something the market really appears to be considering. -

Well for one Doge isn't trying to be what Bitcoin is. Bitcoin says they want to be a currency but acts like a form of investment and that's how everyone uses it. Doge is still primarily just a fun thing and is used as such. Though I guess that makes it much more of a currency than Bitcoin since most people are actually using it instead of hording it in an attempt to profit.gut;1617135 wrote:That's actually really detrimental to the whole digital currency thing.
