Donut time...

Belly35If you don't live under a rock and have the spirit of adventure you've done this... Parking lot "winter donuts".
As a kids, a group of us would go to the church parking lot and do the "donuts".
Ski behind a car and car / truck spin and redirect ... But "Donuts" was my favorite.
Most memorable unintentional Donut was on a over pass over the Maumee River 1978 in my VW wagon, a triple. Thank the Good Lord for my church parking lot training ...
All I could think about is not to hit the side of the bridge or flip over the side. Ended up on the other side of the bridge just off the side. Few more feet and I would have been in a 20 foot deep bank filled with snow.
Where did you have your first "donut"? -
gerb131Driving home after school was let out early. In an 88 Taurus sho on refugee road in pickerington couple friends in car did 2 complete and bounced off a snow filled embankment. Drove away.

Ironman92Never have done one unintentionally.....came close on Rt 35 about age 20 in several inches of snow. Accord hit a large line of slush where a semi had switched lanes and I fought it seemingly forever eventually going off the road.

GOONx19Twice was a passenger in unintentional donuts to and from school. Never the driver unintentionally.
Did tons of them in the school lot after basketball practices. -
Classyposter58Once during a freezing rain storm, it was 430 AM and I had just gotten off the Turnpike. Wasn't thinking that 280 would be so bad since the Turnpike wasn't all bad, instead it was like stepping on to an ice rink

dlazzI have never lost control of my car (either on purpose or otherwise) because I am a responsible driver.
Hope this helps. -

Local athlete in a neighboring town all but lost his life doing that. 5 years of intense therapy later he can walk pretty well and carry on a conversation.ccrunner609;1572291 wrote:Do them all the time. WallyMost guys are probably too young to have owned a rear wheel drive car. Didn't need snow to do a donut in my 72 Nova.
Did one in my 79 Camaro on icy S.R. 47 near Ansonia. Ended up in someones front yard-drove away shaking….. -
thavoiceIn drivers ED our teacher told me to do one in the parking lot.
It was right after the class lesson that she taught about peer pressure while driving.
I thought it was a test and declined.
My buddy was asked the same thing as he drove next and he did it......and it wasnt a test. the instructor just wanted to have some fun!!!
