Yeah, you should be discussing how the drug war is a waste on this thread too!!justincredible;1547704 wrote:THIS is why I'd like it to be dropped. This exact reason. Jesus christ. -

Classyposter58Mine is insane about holidays. Christmas, New Years, Valentines, Halloween, Sweetest, she always gets me stuff for all of them. Last year I got her some jewelry, and three pretty nice UA things. Idk yet for this year however, maybe a TV and a Roku cause she wants it bad

I can see Christmas and Valentine's...NYE and Halloween..no. My experience with girls who are even into Sweetest day is to run, and run fast.Classyposter58;1547843 wrote:Mine is insane about holidays. She's pretty cool actually, but she just loves holidays. I think it's cause her family has never gotten along and are all quite mean to each other, except for on holidays which is why she likes them so much. Ha they fake it for one day at leastPick6;1547845 wrote:I can see Christmas and Valentine's...NYE and Halloween..no. My experience with girls who are even into Sweetest day is to run, and run fast. -

You don't know anyones SO and nobody on this thread has given enough information for you to make a rational deduction. You're just too caught up in your completely idiotic belief to realize this.Me?;1547693 wrote:Hey man, some people need to hear that their significant other is a psycho. They're blinded by the poon.
So, as vdubb said, you're an idiot.
This thread was for others to find out neat ideas that maybe they hadn't heard of before. I remember last year there was a monthly sample thing that got discussed.
Instead, you decided to share your advice of buying from bath and body because all women love that. Generalizations are generally wrong. For people who are in real relationships, buying the same fucking thing for each event will not work. It's unfair to the women to have a man who isn't willing to put some thought into this.
Obviously, despite what you may think, your advice is awful. It shows no connection to an INDIVIDUAL girl, but merely some weak generalization about all women. Every posters SO is different, don't assume you know what they like better than the person who's been with them for years. -

Also, I believe the bolded part you speak of is birchbox, which is a great gift idea. Also spinoff from that idea, there is this thing called the naturebox now (great gift for both genders). Basically, it is the same concept as birchbox, except they send you monthly samples of healthy snacks. -

You're still on that? The thread progressed, but at least it was still relatively productive.DeyDurkie5;1547838 wrote:Yeah, you should be discussing how the drug war is a waste on this thread too!! -

Birchbox was great. I cancelled after about 6 months, but I enjoyed it while I was a subscriber.like_that;1547884 wrote:Also, I believe the bolded part you speak of is birchbox, which is a great gift idea. Ironman92Got tired of reading up on this thread so I'll just answer.
So far I got her a Vera Bradley purse, matching wallet and matching tote bag. She wants some new cookware pieces and I'll do up a stocking of about $50 of all kinds of smaller stuff. -

You get your Hyundai a new steering wheel cover or a detail job?dlazz;1547557 wrote:Nothing. She's a cat. She doesn't have any perception of holidays or gift giving.
Hope this helps. -

Not really sure I understand this post. Me? just offered his ideas about what to get women for Christmas, some of which I find valid and logical. He doesn't need to know everything about everyone in order to provide advice on what to get women. If so, you don't know him either so therefore maybe he is a she and therefore knows what women want.hasbeen;1547879 wrote:You don't know anyones SO and nobody on this thread has given enough information for you to make a rational deduction. In all honesty, I'm with Justin on this one. Even though I think he is SQ, can we drop it? No need to start a flame thread for a new poster. -

If you think he is SQ, then he isn't a new poster. I can leave the site for 4 months and come back, but that doesn't make me a new poster.sleeper;1547937 wrote:Not really sure I understand this post. Good. Nothing can compare to a 30 year old man in a well-kept 226,000 mile Hyundai.dlazz;1547981 wrote:No. I got the oil changed a few weeks ago, though.

OSHWife and I have been together for 6+ years. We made the deal when we started "talking" to not do any presents, not matter the occasion.
We broke the rule early, but now we only do a little token gift. Christmas is no different. We will be giving each other an "upgrade" to a house, trip together, etc. instead of gifts to each other specifically. I like this much better. I believe my wife does too. It sure is a lot easier on the bank accounts which will make for a better future together. And, hopefully a better future for our kids too.
My gift to my wife this year...is a child due in March. She better be happy with that one for quite some time! -
