What was the last movie you watched and how would you rate it?

Also saw chef I agree 8/10.

I wasn't impressed with Nightcrawler. It wasn't what I thought it'd be. Gyllenhaal (spell? - too lazy to look it up) was excellent for the role, though.

What did you think it would be?

I haven't seen it but I would guess it a psychological thriller?

I didn't necessarily think it was a thriller. I thought there'd be more of him racing from crime scene to accident, competing with the other guys trying to make a living. It was slower in parts than I anticipated developing how much of a weirdo he was, which was obvious from the get-go.

    Just saw Equalizer. 7/10

    Glengarry Glen Ross - 8/10

I could rewatch Alec Baldwin's speech on repeat though. A+

    Nightcrawler. 8/10.

I liked the untouched premise of the movie, not a reboot or a lame plot rehashed.

It didnt have tremendous depth, but Gyllenhaall was great and the pace was quick without being absurd.

St. Vincent was VERY good. 10/10.

St. Vincent last night. 9.5/10. Bill Murray is awesome and Melissa McCarthy, when actually acting, wasn't bad at all.

She was my biggest issue with the movie, I'm not a fan of her.. but she was great. Wasn't obnoxious and annoying like most of her movies.

Seriously though, Bill Murray was amazing.

Whiplash 8.5/10. Miles Teller can do no wrong for me. He was excellent. And JK Simmons plays a really great, really convincing bad guy.

    Has anyone seen Interstellar yet?!
  • bigdaddy2003
I'm going today. I thought for sure someone on here would have by now.
  • SportsAndLady
I saw it yesterday. I actually really liked it, despite not knowing what the fuck was going on lol

Def a lot of loop holes in the plot and some cheesy lines..but overall I was very entertained and the acting was top notch

    8/10

I am planning on seeing Interstellar tomorrow night.

Big Hero 6. Which outdrew Interstellar I guess. I had never even heard of of it before. Wasnt bad for a kids movie. At least the theatre had 50 cent pop refills...
